Tae's action..

Won and Kookie near Kookie's cabin..

"Kookie, I don't know what you're talking about..." Won said with fake puzzled face

"I'm aware that you know exactly what I'm talking about..." Kookie  said stern

"See, Kookie, everyone here knows what I am to Tae, but...."

" I'm lost here.... what you are to Tae hyung??!!" Kookie  asked in taunting  tone

" I'm his friend and I am intrested in him..."

" Does Tae hyung knows that in first place??! "

" Whatever.... I'm atleast someone to Tae... but.... no one knows that you are Tae's wife. They talked bad about you.... so,  I am came here to support you."

"I don't need your support. I'm not bothered by anything. Yes, I might not be well-known here, but that doesn't mean I'm not Tae's wife. I have my own identity here, unlike you. Besides, I hope you're aware of Tae hyung's preferences. Stop pursuing my husband," Kookie sternly said, which made Won angry inside, but she pretended to be calm on the outside.

"Why are you being so rude? Kookie.... I'm harmless..."

" huh?? No offence....I didn't directly mention you."

"Shhhh! I don't know what I did to deserve this treatment. I just wanted to be your friend." Won's eyes teared up. Kookie noticed that. He isn't stone-hearted, but he built a strong fortress around himself to fend off bad people. Upon seeing Won's tears, Kookie didn't want to prolong the discussion.

"It's better if you leave, Won. I have work to do here. I didn't mean to be this rude, but you should understand that I'm not Mirae, and your sweet words or tears won't affect me," Kookie said a little more gently.

"I'll leave, Kookie. Hopefully, we'll meet again in a better situation when you're in a good mood," Won said sadly and left the place.

Won tried to act innocent even after being insulted by Kookie. However, Kookie, aware of Won's bad intentions, responded firmly. Won didn't want to get angry and ruin her plans, so she left the place, pretending to be upset. She managed to instill a little guilt in Kookie as she departed.

In Tae's office...

Tae called his secretary, Sana, and asked her to gather all the employees from the gossip group. Tae was aware that many of them used their personal secret numbers in the group. He obtained the complete number list from Jimin and requested Sana to obtain details from government officers using his influence in the defense ministry.

Armed with the list of names and their recent texts, Tae summoned the employees of the gossip group to the conference hall. They all assembled, unaware of the reason for the abrupt summons. None of them could fathom that the gossip they had spread that very morning would reach their CEO so quickly.

Tae stood in front of all employees  and started to speak...

"Good evening...! Wahhh...???!! Almost all the ladies are here, I presume.. What a waste of office cabins and furniture... I should have run an office in a group chat... it would be a little more efficient, I guess," Tae said, his words dripping with sarcasm and an angry smile. Employees exchanged looks, clearly puzzled by Tae's remarks, but none dared to question him.

"With the expressions on your faces, I'm guessing no one can fathom what I'm talking about??? " Tae inquired, and the employees shook their heads, indicating their lack of understanding, except for one...

"Fine... No need to beat around the bush.. I'll get straight to the point... There is an unofficial group among our employees that seems to take pleasure in spreading false rumors and baseless news about our new employees and innocent people who are not part of that group...
