After 8 months in Daegu, the tranquil countryside had grown on Kookie, who leaned back in his chair, patting his slightly bulging belly, and sighed contently. Taehyung, ever the devoted husband, massaged his tired legs with the special oil Granny had given him.
"Hyungieee.... I like it here... I doubt I can get back to city life," Kookie confessed with a grin.
Tae chuckled and replied, "Three more months.... then granny is going to push us out."
Kookie chuckled too, replying, "She won't... she loves me too much."
Tae reassured him, saying, "Don't worry.... Jinie eomma is working on that... Soon he will make sure that granny hates all of us....he will test her mother's patience soon, and Granny is going to push her and me out along with you.... "
Curious, Kookie asked, "Why are they fighting all the time?"
Tae sighed, explaining, "They've been like that even before I was born... Mother and Daughter can't be in one place, and they say these eight months have been a miracle after many years... the last time eomma came here was to deliver me."
"But I'm confident that she took good care of Jin omma those days... because Jin omma gave you..." Kookie remarked.
Tae agreed, saying, "Yes!!! Why wouldn't she.... even though they pretend to fight all the time, Granny loves my eomma secretly more than her other children."
Kookie expressed his desire, saying, "I wish I could take her with us after childbirth."
Tae responded with a chuckle, "Omg!!! Stubborn lady... she won't step away from Daegu... it's the reason for their fight in the first place. Because Jin omma is constantly calling granny to city.."
" These two!!!" Kookie sighed....

.Later..
"Haaaannnnnhhhhh! You really turned my first son into a watch dog... look at him, he's always on high alert, ready to protect," Kookie sighed, observing Bam's ever-vigilant demeanor.
Tae responded, defending himself, "I did nothing... you don't know your son well enough then... Dobermans are naturally intelligent and alert dogs... and, on top of that, you're pregnant. Dogs, in general, tend to be more alert and protective around their pregnant owners. It's your son's way of showing love for his pregnant mother."
Kookie couldn't resist the affection he felt for Bam, calling him over and starting to pet him. Bam, with his innate protective instinct, was gentle in his playfulness around Kookie.
"Did you know, when I personally went to the dog center to pick up Bam from the shelter when we left Seoul, he recognized me perfectly after sniffing me and picked up your scent on me. He was so calm on our way back, having detected that you were expecting... isn't that sweet?" Tae shared, emphasizing the unique bond between Kookie and Bam.
As they continued to pet Bam, both Kookie and Tae could feel the baby bump, and even Bam seemed to sense the movement of the growing fetus, gently sniffing and nuzzling in a heartwarming display of connection.

.Meanwhile, Won had no clue that Tae was just a drive away. She had secretly taken Hwasa on a whirlwind tour of European countries, following the breadcrumbs that Tae had left behind to distract her.
It was a clever trick by Tae to keep her occupied, and Won's father, aware of his daughter's adventurous pursuit, continued to stand by Tae's side, recognizing the potential threat to Kookie by Won. He requested Tae to forgive Won for all things happened, in exchange of his support.

.A month later...
There is another real reason why Taehyung was settled in Daegu, other than taking care of Kookie and living with his mother's family. His primary focus was on taking care of Kookie, but in his free time, he delved into an ambitious project.
He was working on developing a thin, innovative material capable of withstanding the intense heat generated by rocket emulsion. It was a challenging and groundbreaking task that he was determined to pursue.
With the rocket launch just days away, scheduled at the Korean station for defense purposes, Taehyung's involvement in the project was immense. He had been granted all the necessary permissions to work closely on the launch site, and his responsibilities had increased significantly. Furthermore, he had decided to put his new prototype to the ultimate test during this crucial launch.
As the due date for Kookie approached Tae got busy with works. Kookie understood the importance of this project to Taehyung and fully supported him. Recognizing the significance of Tae's work, Kookie even contributed his expertise in garment technology.
Together, they collaborated on designing six different types of materials that were to be tested using this launch, combining their knowledge and skills to contribute to the success of the mission.
Despite having tested the materials under high-temperature conditions, both Taehyung and Kookie understood the importance of real-time testing during the actual launch. They recognized that the extreme conditions during the launch would provide the most rigorous and accurate assessment of the materials' capabilities. The anticipation and tension were high as the moment of truth neared.

.One night...
In an unexpected turn of events, Kookie woke Taehyung in the middle of the night, writhing in pain. The rush of events took them by surprise, as a midwife arrived at their home just in time. With incredible speed, Kookie gave birth to their baby in the quiet of their home, in the warmth of a bathtub. The entire process was so swift and intense that it seemed to unfold in the blink of an eye, welcoming a new life into their world under the cover of darkness.
Taehyung was overwhelmed with joy as he cradled his baby daughter, unable to find the right words to express the profound emotions he felt. The fact that he had gone to sleep and suddenly become a father before dawn was almost surreal. He held his adorable daughter in his arms, feeling a deep sense of wonder and love.
Their entire family was overjoyed, celebrating this new addition to their lives. Jin couldn't contain his excitement and immediately called Namjoon, sharing the wonderful news about the birth of his granddaughter, even at the early hour of 3 a.m. It was a moment of pure joy and elation for the whole family.
As the day began, word quickly spread among the elite circles, and the news of the new addition to the family reached many. Namjoon wasted no time and set off for Daegu even before dawn. Yoongi, in his own circle, informed his closest friends, the slumber gang, and together they organized to depart in another private jet. The level of excitement among them was palpable, and they couldn't wait to meet the newest member of the family.
The news eventually reached Hwasa, and she was taken by surprise. Won, feeling a sense of regret for not realizing that Taehyung never left Korea, was consumed by a growing fire of jealousy and curiosity. She couldn't bear to be left out of this momentous occasion.
So, without informing anyone about her sudden departure, Won started her journey from Seoul in a rented car. Along the way, she picked up Hwasa, and together they headed to Daegu, determined not to miss out on what was happening.
Hwasa voiced her frustration, saying, "I thought we were the ones keeping secrets, but it turns out your father has known everything from the beginning."
Won's determination flared as she responded, "That's why I'm planning everything behind his back. This time, he won't suspect that I'm behind any of the challenges the family faces."Won declared with clenched jaw..
"Project Terminate!! Initialized!" Hwasa whispered and she stepped on the accelerator, their mission set in motion.
