Around lunchtime...

"Eomma... Did Kookie eat?? Why is he not picking up my call?!!" Tae called Jin, and Jin began to venting out all his struggles and worries from that morning with dealing with playfull Kookie and Jay.

".......I've never seen Kookie get out of control like this before..... they both are being naughty like anything... so out of everything. Taking care of Hina and Min seems easier than managing them. With Mirae and IU out for some registration work, it feels like....I'm alone managing four kids..." Jin wiped his imaginary sweat.

"Helpers are there, right?!" Tae asked, concerned for Jin and Kookie.

"Yeah! They can only help with chores... managing these two takes more than just helpers. I need bouncers like in nightclubs... they're doing karaoke in broad daylight..."

"Is Kookie jumping and dancing??" Tae asked, worried.

"Thank God he doesn't have that much energy to jump. He safely took a seat in a corner couch... protecting him from Jay who is jumping and falling is getting harder..." Jin said, all the while keeping an eye on Jay.

"Put Kookie on the phone... ask him to have lunch and take some rest... other wise... should I send Sana to engage Jay...," Tae said, concerned.

"Its ok.. i'll try to manage... you tell him aswell.." Jin said and passed the mobile to Kookie, who was tired after singing many songs with Jay.

"Typical monster-in-law stuff... Did you just complain about me to your bossy son?!" Kookie gave a side-eye to Jin.

"I'm the boss of this house, you idiot! Gonna send you all out once you give me my grandbaby in my hands" Jin playfully threatened Kookie.

"I'll send you and Mirae eomma to an old-age home with your grandbaby... after that.....me, Tae hyungie, Joonie appa, and Bam are gonna rule this mansion."

"Rule? You three are gonna make a mess out of this mansion, I'll take the poor dog with me..." Jin said and pushed his mobile to Kookie. Kookie slowly moved away with the phone. Jin stopped Jay from following Kookie and pulled him to sit beside him on the couch.

"I still can't believe, as a humble employee of Seokjin Groups, I'm sitting with the great Seokjin himself in his mansion, on his couch..." Jay sheepishly smiled.

"Your words show respect, at least, because I couldn't see them in your actions," Jin playfully said.

"All of this was Kookie's idea," Jay said blaming Kookie.

"I doubt that, besides now I know why Tae sent you to Russian spa" Jin said with a grin.

"That was a great appreciating gesture by Taehyung-shi for what I did in the ammunition testing.. " Jay mentioned thinking Tae have no idea about the treatment.

"For what you did? Huh!" Jin chuckled.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was inquiring Kookie about his day with his friend, doing his best to control his jealousy. He handled Kookie tenderly, though Kookie was fully aware of Taehyung's feelings.

"Is Jay doing well? Is he enjoying the mansion? I hope he likes our hospitality... I'll welcome him once I come home, baby," Taehyung inquired, his voice filled with a mix of jealousy, curiosity and affection.

"Hyung, I'm afraid you're trying to control your anger... don't do that; it might burst. Be normal. You can shout at me all you want. . I'm not that fragile," Kookie advised, understanding the subtle emotions in Taehyung's tone.

"It's not that, baby. Enjoy yourself, just don't get hurt," Taehyung expressed his concern, his love for Kookie evident in every word.

"Don't worry. I'm not jumping or doing splits as Jin eomma said....I took my medicines, had my fruits, ate on time, and no Bam. Jay is well taken care of by eomma. Jinnie eomma is taking better care of me than you. I'm all aware of my condition. I even hid his champagne so he doesn't get drunk. No outside food, just homemade smoothies. Not gonna go out of campus.... Everything is under control, so be happy," Kookie assured, his words a reassurance to Taehyung.

"My big baby!" Taehyung adored Kookie over the phone,...

"Are you calling me fat already?!" Kookie playfully whined, teasing his beloved hyung.

"No, baby, you've grown matured, that's what I was trying to say. Okay, I'm relieved now. I'll be there sharp at 7. Bye," Taehyung said, a sense of relief in his voice.

"Bye, hyungie," Kookie replied, with a hint of anticipation for their evening together.

"Have a little nap after lunch," Taehyung advised, a final caring thought before they hung up.

"Yeah, I'll give him a whole mansion tour and then rest after that in our home," Kookie said, looking forward to the rest of the day with Jay. The call ended with fond goodbyes, leaving them both reassured and eager for dinner together with Jay.

Later that evening..

Jin's call at 6 o'clock was laced with anxiety, instantly alerting Taehyung to an urgent situation.

"Tae...?!" Jin's voice was thick with worry.

"What happened...?!" Tae's response mirrored the growing concern in Jin's tone.

"Kookie and Jay left the mansion about half an hour ago, headed to gate... The front gate received a call that someone was there to drop off Bam from dog care."

"I specifically told Jay not to..." Tae begined....

"No, Jay had no prior knowledge about it.. He requested the guards to deny entry, but Kookie insisted on checking on Bam. So, I sent Jay along with him. Since the kids were asleep, I had to stay with them. They left for the front gate..."

"Where's Kookie now??!"

"It wasn't Bam as it turns out. Someone attempted to leave a Rottweiler in place of Bam..."

"What on earth...?! Eomma, please call Kookie..."

"The Rottweiler ended up biting one of our guards, and he's been taken to the hospital. Kookie and Jay aren't answering their phones, and the guards are unsure if they've left the premises..."

"That's it... ??!don't worry... Kookie wouldn't have left the campus. I told him not to. I've already headed out from office and will be there in a few minutes..."

"Thank goodness... I was really concerned..."

"They're likely just strolling around the farm, as it's usually Kookie's walk time. I'll go and escort them back to the mansion, you keep calm" Tae reassured, his calm demeanor contrasting with the turmoil inside.

"mhmm..."

"Eomma...?! The other dogs aren't loose, are they??! A Rottweiler is a ferocious breed..."

"No, Tae... The Rottweiler attacked our guard, who is now at the hospital. But I'm confident that the guards took the dog with them. There are no other dogs roaming free inside... I'm sure of that," Jin provided assurance.

As Tae searched for Kookie throughout the farm to find them nowhere, his growing unease pushed him to check their home. Upon entering, he was met with the sight of two half-empty cups of smoothie. His heart raced upon finding scattered clothes, with one of them unmistakably belonging to Kookie.

Tae hesitated for a brief moment before opening the bedroom door. Inside, he discovered Kookie resting in Jay's embrace on the bed, both shirtless. The sound of the door startled Jay, but Tae remained frozen, his eyes locked on Kookie.

With bated breath and fast beating heart, he closed the distance between them and scrutinized Kookie closely. A deep sigh of relief finally escaped him upon observing the reassuring rise and fall of Kookie's chest.

Tae stumbled as he took a seat on the edge of the bed, his heart still racing from the unexpected sight. Jay awoke, his eyes flickering open, and a mix of confusion and anxiety swept across his face as he glanced between Taehyung and Kookie, one on either side of him.

"Tae-shi??!! Whaaa..." Jay began to utter, his voice hushed.

"Shhh...!!! Go... Get dressed before he wakes up," Taehyung whispered urgently, carefully placing a fingers over Jay's lips as Jay attempted to move without causing any sudden disturbances.

"Hungie...!!!" Kookie slowly emerged from his slumber, his drowsy eyes meeting Taehyung with a sleepy smile. Yet, his expression shifted to one of surprise and apprehension upon spotting Jay shirtless next to him.

The room was filled with a palpable tension, as everyone remained motionless with unsettling realizations.
