Beth and Viv were seated in anticipation waiting for the award to be announced. Viv placed her hand on Beth's thigh, "I'm so proud of you, I love you." Viv whispered into Beth's ear, Beth turned to smile at her, "I love you more," Beth whispered back.
"And the winner is..." Beth and Viv turned to face the stage, "Beth Mead!" Viv had tears in her eyes with pride as her girlfriend leant over to her hug her father and then Viv. As Beth went up the stage Viv watched her girlfriend with pride, love and affection. Beth gave her speech and held eye contact with Viv the whole time.
When Beth returned to the seat for the rest of the awards, "Beth, I'm so proud of you and everything you have achieved this past year on and off the pitch, I'm incredibly lucky that I get to be a part of it on the sidelines." Viv whispered as tests of pride fell down Viv's face, Beth had tears forming for her eyes, Viv pulled Beth into a hug and then turned to face stage for the remainder of the awards, throughout the last half an hour, forty five minutes, Viv and Beth kept stealing glances at eachother smiling.
After the show Beth collected her award and placed it in the car then she climbed into the car shortly followed by Viv and her Dad got in the driver seat and drove them back to their hotel before he drove home, when they arrived back at the hotel they were met with the England girls and Sarina who had also been awarded with awards. Sarina and Viv were talking in a corner away from everyone, "You and her are very happy," Sarina smiled, Viv blushed and looked down at her feet, "Very happy," "You both deserve it," Sarina smiled, "Thank you, Congratulations on you award." Viv said, "Thank you," "I'm super proud of you both," Viv smiled and looked over at Beth who was talking with some of the other girls.
As the night continued on Viv kept her eye on Beth, immensely proud. Viv was sat on the sofa when Viv, Beth wrapped her arms around Vivs neck from behind, Viv looked up, "Hi bubs," Viv smiled, "I'm going to get my comdy clothes on, you coming?" Beth asked, Viv nodded her head and then the pair went into the lift, when they entered their room Viv wrapped her arms around Beth and kissed Beth, slowly but passionately, Beth immediately wrapped her arms around Viv's neck with same passion, when they pulled apart Beth buried her head into Viv's neck, "I guess I am trophy wife." Viv laughed, Beth looked up, "I wouldn't have you any other way. None of this would have been possible with out you." Beth leant up and placed a kiss on Viv's lips then went into her suitcase to get her clothes out.
Once they were both changed they went back downstairs, "I think that Meademas should have their photo taken with the trophy," Lauren Hemp said, Beth nodded her head and took the trophy and then went to stand in front of Viv, Viv snaked one arm around her waist and then placed the other arm around Beth's back and rested it there and drew circles on her back, once their photo was taken Beth placed the trophy down on the table and then went back to Viv and wrapped her arms around her neck, Viv wrapped her arms around Beth's waist once again Beth rested her head on Viv's chest and then began to cry, Viv pulled Beth away from the situation, "What's up baby?" Viv asked with nothing but concern in her voice, "I'm just so overwhelmed, plus I don't deserve this award." Beth began to cry and buried her head further into Vivs chest, "Don't be daft, you deserve this award more than anyone else, you've had an incredible year on and off the pitch," Viv reassured Beth as she wiped away her tears, Beth placed a kiss on Viv's hand.
