Coffee Shop <3

Beth and Viv were currently walking through the woods with the sound of the leaves brushing past each other as they fell to the floor, the sound of birds tweeting the trees above them, it was the perfect winters day.

The couple walked hand in hand, Beth was leaning her head on Viv's shoulder whilst she held Ronas lead the other while Rona was off her lead and running wild around through the trees, "I love it here," Beth blurted out, Viv smiled, "Yeah me too, it's beautiful here, like you." Beth blushed a deep shade of pink, "That was proper cheesy, but it was cute," as they continued walking along the path, Viv was getting colder by the second, eventually she had to let go of Beth's hand to put it in her pocket to warm up, "Hey. I was holding that." Beth pouted, "Sorry angel, but my hands are cold and when they get so cold the day after they get really sore." Viv tried to explain, "Don't be daft, I know that, I'm only messing." Beth smiled, "Heyy there's a coffee shop up there, it's dog friendly so we can go inside?" Beth suggested as she pointed to the building that was up the short path ahead of them.

As they reached the coffee shop Beth insisted that Viv go sit down, "I'll sit but you have to pay with my card." Viv stated handing Beth her card, "Fine." Viv went to take a seat by the window, she looked out of the window as she watched the scenes of winter unfold in front of her, the leaves falling and turning autumnal colours, Beth came and placed her drink and card in front of her, "Did you use my card?" Viv asked, Beth shook her head, "I hate when you don't let me pay." Viv pouted, "I hate when you insist on paying." Beth argued, Viv placed her hands on the coffee to try and warm them up so they didn't get too painful the next day. The couple spent a good 45 minutes in the coffee shop, laughing and smiling and to anyone who was watching, they looked so in love with each other, it was the kind of love you'd see in a movie and it would make your heartache for it.

As they walked back through the woods, Viv's hands were in her pockets and Beth had Rona on the lead so that she didn't go back into the river so she could get in the car and it wouldn't smell of wet dog.

As they drove home to Beth's Dad's house to drop Rona home, the heating was on full blast, Beth was singing along to the radio which was also pretty loud, Viv looked at Beth lovingly as she sang awfully the whole way back to Rich's house. When they pulled up on the driveway, Rona started to bark with excitement, "I think someone's excited to be home," Viv laughed, "Yeah I think so," Beth smiled.

As they approached the front door, it was locked. Beth took out her spare key and opened the door, "Hello, Dad?" Beth shouted as she entered the house, "Not here, must have gone out," Beth suggested, "Didn't he say he was going to do a job of Ben and Olivia?" Viv asked, "Oh yeahh, slipped my mind."

As they went into the hallway they both took their shoes and coats off, they hung their coats over the banister, then walked into the living room, Viv sat down on the sofa when Beth went into a basket behind the sofa and pulled out the thickest blanket and threw it over Viv, then climbed under the blanket herself, Beth opened her arms and let Viv snuggle into her chest, Beth picked up the TV remote turned the TV on, "Anything in particular you want watch?" Beth asked, "No, not really, as long as I can stay in your arms, I'm happy." Viv smiled, Beth put on her Friends, her favourite TV show. "Vivi." Beth whispered, Viv turned her attention to Beth, "How are your hands?" She asked, "They're okay, just a little sore." Viv answered as she snuggled back into Beth's chest, Beth felt around for Viv's hands and then picked them up and placed gentle kisses all over them, "You're cute." Viv mumbled, Beth blushed, "Viv." Beth said shyly, "Will you move in with me? I mean I know we practically do but I want us to stay at one place all the time and not to back and fourth." Viv smiled, "Of course I will." They shared a gentle kiss and then talked about their new chapter together.

After an hour so the couple had fallen asleep entangled in each other's arms, then the front door opened causing Rona to bark and both of them to wake up, "Hello?" Rich shouted, "Living room." Beth called back, "How long have you two been here?" He asked his daughter and daughter-in-law, "An hour or so, where have you been?" Beth answered, "I went to see Ben and Olivia and painted the guest bedroom for them, then went to see your Grandparents, which reminds me, they want to see you soon Beth." Rich said, "We can swing by on the way home," Viv suggested, "As long as you're sure?" Beth double checked, Viv nodded her head, "How was your walk?" Rich asked as he took a seat on the other sofa across from Beth and Viv, "Beautiful scenery, but cold." Beth stated, they all laughed.

Twenty minutes later Beth and Viv had said their goodbyes to Rich and Rona, got their shoes and coats on and got back into the car and drove to Beth's Grandparents house.

When they got out of the car, Beth knocked on the door and then went inside followed by Viv. "Nan, Grandad, it's Beth and Viv." Beth shouted not wanting to startle her grandparents if they just appeared in the room. As they walked into the living room Beth could instantly smell the beautiful flowers that were on display on the mantle piece, "Aw well if it isn't my baby." Beth's Nan said, Beth laughed as she placed a kiss on Viv's each of her grandparents'cheeks, "So what have you two done today?" Beth's Grandad asked curiously, "Well, Dad went up to Ben and Livs to do some painting for their guest bedroom, so we took Rona on a walk through the woods and went for coffee and then went back to Dad's with Rona for a bit before Dad came home, then came here." Beth answered loudly so that her Grandparents could hear her. They talked for a little while, laughed too and then Beth glanced at the clock, "Ready bubs?" Beth asked Viv, Viv nodded her head, "Right we're off, we're gonna go home before it gets too dark." Beth said as embraced her grandparents in a hug, "Lovely to see you," Viv said as she too was embraced in a tight hug from Beth's Nan, "And you my dear."

Beth's Nan watched Beth and Viv were in the car reversing off their drive, "Well the only members of my family we haven't seen today are Ben and Liv and then my in-laws," Beth saying this caused Viv to feel all sorts of emotions, all she ever wanted was for Beth to consider her girlfriends family a part of her own, "Earth to Vivanne," Beth spoke once more, Viv came out of her trance, "Yeah," "You good?" Beth asked, "Yeah I was just thinking how nice it is for you to consider my parents to be a part of your family." Viv said shyly, "Of course their family, you and me are our own little family." Beth said she indicated to come off the roundabout down the street to Beth's house and now Viv's too.

As they went inside, the pair walked straight up stairs, changed into their pajamas, climbed under the duvet and then cuddled for the rest of the night.
