Long Travel Days = Clingy <3

It was an early Autumn's day, the Autumn sun was shining through the crack of the curtains, Beth and Viv were snuggled up underneath the thick duvet, they were both disturbed by the sound of the alarm, "Turn that bloody thing off." Viv groaned, "Well good morning to you too." Beth laughed, Beth leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on Viv's lips which made Viv smile, "Breakfast here in the training ground?" Viv asked as she flung her legs over the edge of the bed and sat up and rubbed her eyes, "Here?" Beth suggested, Viv nodded "I'll go get breakfast started," Beth smiled at her girlfriend who was now leaving the room, Beth got out of bed and made the bed, she then made her way into the kitchen where she smelled the delicious breakfast that Viv was making, "Thank you baby." Beth smiled as she wrapped her arms around Viv who was currently flipping over their pancakes, when the pancakes were ready Viv put fruit on the side, they ate their breakfast and then Beth cleaned up before making her way into the bedroom to get changed before they left to meet the girls at the training ground.

As Beth drove to the training ground she kept her hand on Vivs thigh, every now and again she would rub her thumb up and down Viv's leg gently, Viv interlocked her hand with Beth's and kept hold of it for most of the way unless Beth needed change gear. Beth took the opportunity and pressed a gentle kiss on Vivs knuckle before saying, "What's up? You seem quieter than usual." "Just tired." Viv smiled at how considerate her girlfriend was being, "Okay, but Viv, if you want anything today, whether that be a chat or a cuddle please come find me." Beth kissed Vivs knuckle once more, before they continued their drive to the training ground in St Alban's. When they had about 15 minutes left of their journey Beth decided she wanted a coffee, so of course they made their way to the Starbucks that was closest to the ground, when they pulled up Beth asked Viv what she wanted, but soon realised that Viv had fallen asleep, head against the window, so Beth ordered her a tea and got herself a caramel latte. When they left Starbucks Beth gently woke Viv, "Viv, there's a tea by here for you." Viv woke up and rubbed her eyes, "Thank you."

When they arrived at the ground, Beth and Viv grabbed their bags, made sure they locked the car before, before making their way into the building, Viv reached her hand out for Beth's which she took instantly. When they walked inside Beth was greeted by her Sushi squad, Viv freed her hand from Beth's grip before she went over to find Katie and Lotte who were now also joined with Alessia, "Nice of you to join us." Katie laughed, so did Lotte and Less, Viv rolled her eyes before laughing too, Viv turned her attention to Alessia, "How are you settling in?" Viv asked the striker, "Great, all the girls are lovely and have really made me feel like home." Less smiled, "Glad to hear it, if you ever need anything you know where I am." Viv smiled back before they turned their attention to the head coach who had just walked in, he announced that the bus was here and ready to take the girls to the airport. When they got to the bus they handed their bags to the staff member and then made their way onto the bus.

When they were all settled and ready to go the bus driver drove off, the journey to the airport was roughly 4 hours including traffic. Viv began to watch a movie with Katie as usual while Lotte and Less were now deep in conversation, when suddenly Viv felt a tap on her shoulder, she looked up to see the blonde haired blue eyed girl she had fallen deeply in love with, "Hi." Viv smiled up, Beth smiled back, "You okay?" Beth asked as she kept eye contact with Viv, "Yeah fine, you?" "Yeah," Beth smiled, "What's up?" Viv asked as Beth was still hovering over Beth's shoulder, "I was wondering if it was possible I could borrow you coat as you're not wearing it?" Beth asked, "Help yourself." Viv smiled, Beth reached for Viv's coat and then placed a kiss on Beth's forehead, "Thank you baby." Viv smiled and Beth made her way back to the back and then wrapped herself up in Viv's coat, "She really has you wrapped around her finger." Katie laughed, "Yeah." Viv smiled. The conversation began to flow once more and then Viv announced to the four she was sat with that she was going to read her book.

When the bus came to the stop at the services Beth stood up and walked towards the front of the bus and found Viv stood waiting for her, when Beth came to the front she let Viv go in front of her, when they got off the bus Beth found herself interlocking her fingers with Vivs, "What do you want?" Viv asked, "My treat." Beth smiled, "No, you bought on the way, my turn." Viv argued back, Beth rolled her eyes and said hot chocolate, "Not fancying coffee are we?" Viv questioned, "Nah, I fancy a nap." Viv nodded her head and bought them both hot chocolates, Beth stood talking to Jen and Steph, when Viv came back with their drinks, Beth shimmied over to stand in front of Viv, Viv wrapped her arm around Beth's shoulder, Beth buried her head into Vivs shoulder, "What's up?" Viv whispered into Beth's ear, "Just tired." Beth smiled, Viv just nodded her head. Once all the team had gotten their drinks, they all made their way back to the bus, "Viv can we cuddle?" Beth asked shyly, "Of course." Viv kissed Beth's forehead.

When the whole team was sat and ready for the rest of the journey to the airport Beth and Viv sat in a two seater, Beth was snuggled right up into Beth's side, Viv stroked Beth's hair gently, "Can you read to me?" Beth asked, Viv nodded her head and pulled out her book and began to read pages of her book to Beth, when Beth finally fell asleep for the remaining hour of the journey Viv read her book in silence for the rest of the journey, every now and again Beth would stir in her sleep and Viv would hold her tighter or whisper sweet nothings in her ear so that Beth could stay asleep. When Alessia looked across from the seat the four seater she was sat in with Lotte and Katie she looked at them in awe, "Are they always like that?" Alessia whispered into Lottes ear, "pretty much." Lotte smiled as she turned her attention to the loved up couple who sat opposite them. When they were the getting closer to airport Viv, very gently woke Beth up, "Hey princess, we're nearly at the airport." Viv gently spoke as she placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

When they arrived at the airport Beth wasn't 100% awake, she was tired and would have like a few more hours sleep, as they walked through the airport Beth clung to Vivs side, never once going far from it, she interlocked her fingers with Viv's, "Someone's clingy." Jen teased as she walked passed, Viv giggled ever so slightly and Beth gave her the middle finger, "Aw baby, ignore them." Viv placed a gentle kiss on Beth's forehead as they stood in the security line Beth placed her bag on the floor and wrapped her arm around Vivs waist, "Why are you being so clingy?" Viv asked as she wrapped her arm around Beth's shoulder, "Still abit sleepy, you know what I'm like, I'm clingy when I'm tired." Beth smiled, Viv laughed. When they through security they were able to board the plane as they were flying private, as they boarded the plane Viv walked down the isle with Beth following behind, "Viv." Beth said before they sat down, "Can I sit next to you?" Beth asked, "Course you can." Viv smiled as she sat down on the seat, Beth began to play with Viv's hand that was resting on the arm rest.

As the flight took Beth began to lean her head on the window, "You tired?" Viv smiled, "Yeah." Viv lifted the arm rest to allow Beth to snuggle into Vivs chest, Beth pulled out a blanket that she bought with her and placed it over the both of them, "Will you read to me again?" Beth asked softly, Viv began to read her book to Beth whilst she rubbed her hand up and down Beth's back, Beth slowly drifted off to sleep Beth, shortly later Viv was sleeping too, cuddled into each other. The rest of the journey was spent with Beth sleeping and Viv stroking her hair, "What's up with Beffy?" Steph asked from the row behind them, "Nothing, she gets clingy when she's tired." Viv smiled.
Viv planted a kiss on Beth's forehead before drifting off to sleep.
