Pumpkin Picking

As Halloween was drawing closer, Beth wanted to go Pumpkin picking with Viv and her family after all they hadn't really had a proper night with Beth's family in a while, so when this opportunity presented itself Beth immediately wanted to go. As the girls were in the canteen getting their lunch, Beth made her way over to where Viv was sat, when Beth sat down to her, Viv's eyes lit up, it was obvious to all of the girls how in love they were, "Viv might as well be walking around with heart eyes." Katie stated causing the table of girls they were sat with to laugh, Viv blushed and went shy, Beth looked at her girlfriend sympathetically, "Aw Viv." Beth wrapped her arm around the back of Viv's chair and pulled her closer, Viv buried her head into the crook of Beth's neck, "Viv, it's a cute thing, you don't have to be embarrassed about it." Beth whispered. Eventually, Viv got over her embarrassment and continued the conversation she was having before Katie started to tease her. When the girls were finished in the canteen they all made their way into the changing rooms to grab their things before heading off home together. 

When Beth and Viv were in the car on the way home, Viv had her hand Beth's thigh while she drove and Beth began to play with Viv's hand, this something Beth did when she got nervous, "Hey, what's up?" Viv asked, she knew Beth was nervous and only wanted to help, "Viv can we go Pumpkin Picking with my family?" Beth asked her voice all timid and shy, "Of course we can love my love, why were you nervous?" Viv asked her soft voice, she played with Beth's hand while keeping her eyes on the road, "I don't know, I just want to do a lot of things and I know you like being at home." Beth sighed, Viv placed a kiss on Beth's hand, "As long as I'm with you Beth, I don't care where we are, we could literally be in the While they were still driving home, Beth began to sing to the song, completely out tone deaf, Viv giggled at Beth, but there was nothing in this whole world that could change the way Viv felt about Beth, not one thing, Viv was with Beth for the long run and she wasn't going to leave her anytime soon.

When they arrived home both of them were greeted by a very excited puppy, "Hi my baby." Viv said in a baby voice as she knelt down to play with Rona, Viv went into their living room and sat on the sofa, Rona followed and Beth just sighed, "Viv." Beth pouted with jealously "Come here." Viv said trying to hide her smirk, Viv opened her arm and Beth sat down and lied in Viv's arms, "My girls." Viv kissed Beth's head, "What time are we leaving?" Viv asked, "I'll ring my Dad and find out what time Dad's leaving and we'll go based off that." Beth said as she sat up and phoned her Dad, "Hi Dad, what time are you leaving?" Beth asked, she put the phone speaker so that Viv could hear, "I'm leaving mine at 3:15, do you want a lift or?" Rich asked from the other end of the phone, "Viv and I can pick you up, we can have movie night? I'll mention it to Ben and Liv too." Beth suggested, "That would be lovely, let me know when what time you're picking me up." Rich said gratefully, Beth organised with her Dad what time they'll pick her up, meanwhile Viv got up and walked into their bedroom and sat on the bed and started to tear up as she looked at pictures of her and her family back home in the Netherlands, "Viv!" Beth called through their shared home, Viv quickly wiped her tears and responded back by saying bedroom, when Beth walked in she saw that Viv had been upset, Beth walked over to their bed, leaned against their headboard and pulled Viv onto her chest, "What's up baby girl?" Beth whispered as she placed a kiss on Viv's forehead, "Nothing, it's fine, just me being silly." Viv said unconvincingly, "Viv, baby girl, please tell me what's up." Beth begged, "I was looking at pictures of my family in the Netherlands and spending so much time with your family, which I love and I couldn't be more grateful for, but I miss them and sometimes I feel guilty for spending a lot of time with your family, I know they live closer, a lot but I don't make much for an effort to go home and see them either." Viv cried, Beth held her tighter, "Baby why didn't you say? How about when you go to the Dutch Camp, the following 9 days later we have off and have sometime with your family, I'll fly over too." Beth suggested, Viv nodded her head and wiped her tears, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound ungrateful for spending time with your family, they welcomed me with open arms," Viv began to speak, Beth cut her off, "Viv, you've got nothing to be sorry for, if anything I think it'd be wrong if you didn't get upset over missing your family, you're allowed to you know." Beth kissed her forehead before both of them reassured her. After 15 minutes the couple decided to get ready for Pumpkin picking, both of them decided to somewhat match, Viv wore blacked ripped skinny jeans and a black hoodie with a beige teddy bear coat while Beth wore blue skinny wripped jeans, a white hoodie and a black and white teddy bear coat, "Don't we look cute." Beth laughed, it made Viv giggle then the two of them made their way to Pumpkin Patch.

When they got there they were greeted by Ben and Olivia, "Aw youse look cute, matching." Liv smiled, Beth and Viv looked at each other in the most loving way before making their way to the Pumpkin Patch, Beth reached out for Viv to pull her back a little, "Are you okay now my darling?" Beth said quietly, "Yeah I'm fine baby girl, don't worry." Viv whispered back, "It's okay not be baby, I want you to know that." Beth said reassuringly, as she placed a kiss on her forehead. They then walked quickly to catch up with the others, when they reached the part of the field where the Pumpkins were Beth and Viv, "Pleaseee can I get a big Pumpkin?" Beth asked, Viv saw her Beth's eyes light up when she realised that she wanted to the biggest one she could carry, it warm Viv's heart seeing her girlfriend so happy, "Of course you can darling." Viv smiled, Beth went over and tried to pick the big one up, Viv laughed at her, Viv walked over to her picked up the Pumpkin, "Well that's just massive." Rich laughed, "Beth's choice." Viv stated, Beth smiled proudly at her choice of Pumpkin, "That does not surprise me in the slightest." Ben laughed, Viv placed their Pumpkin the wheel barrow, "So which one of us is able to push that?" Ben asked as there were now a few Pumpkins in there that weighed a ton, Viv offered to push the wheelbarrow to the top of this hill, they all continued to walk and then they got up the hill there was a coffee stall, "Baby, do you want anything?" Beth asked sweetly, "Hot chocolate please Beth." Viv smiled, "Coming up." Beth smiled, "We'll got sit on the benches over there." Rich said to Beth as she walked off, Beth our her thumb up and then continued walking to the stall, Viv pushed the wheel barrow over to bench, suddenly Viv's phone started to ring, it was Beth, "Hi baby, can you come here for two seconds please? I need to nip the toilet but I can't go with the drinks." Beth asked, "Yeah I'll be there." Beth, "Thank you my love." Beth smiled, "I'll be right back, Beth needs a hand." Viv announced, the others nodded, Viv walked over to Beth and took the drinks off her, "What's the marshmallows?" Viv asked, "I don't need to go to the toilet, I wanted to roast marshmallows together on our own, and I didn't know how else to get you away from everyone." Beth said shyly, Viv pulled her in close and placed a kiss on forehead, Beth and Viv made their way to the firepit. They roasted the Marshmallows, laughing and Beth's head rested on Viv's shoulder, "I love you." Beth sighed contently, "I love you my angel, so much." Viv smiled.
