A year ago today Beth tore her ACL, it was a devastating heartbreak to her and her girlfriend, but what made it worse was that Viv tore hers three wakes later. Today Beth was playing away against Brighton, over the past few months Beth and Viv had spoken about getting their own little dog, of course they had Rona as a family dog but Beth wanted to have her own little puppy, of course Viv did too, but Viv had always said that when she retires then they'll have one because it wasn't fair on either of their parents or the little pup themselves if they weren't there all the time, however Beth had been down recently, she just wanted to spend all the time in the world with Viv, not that Viv was complaining, she loved having snuggles with her girlfriend. Anyway, whilst Beth was gone from 7am this morning Viv had planned it with Rich to get the beautiful puppy they had been looking at for a few weeks, Viv went to the pet shop and bought everything the puppy would need and more while Rich went to collect the puppy.

When Rich arrived through the door with her beautiful baby girl, he handed her over to Viv, who gave her the most beautiful affection, she made a fuss of her and it was the most magical moment.

Viv looked at the clock and saw that it was 8 meaning that Beth would be back any minute now, Rich had left so that Viv and Beth could have this intimate moment.

Beth walked through the door and called hello, normally Viv would have gone to greet her girlfriend by the door, but when Viv didn't move she knew that there was something up.

She walked into the living room and saw the beautiful puppy laying on Viv's chest, "No!" Beth whispered as her eyes brimmed with tears, "Yes baby girl." Viv smiled, Beth ran around the L shaped sofa.

Beth held the precious girl in her arms and stroked her gently, Viv who was watching couldn't have fallen more in love with the girl standing in front of her, "I really love you." Beth cried, "I love you so much." Viv smiled back, Viv stood up and wrapped her arms around Beth's waist and rested her head in the crook of Beth's neck.

That evening was spent with Beth and Viv playing with their little baby girl and giving her the most love ever, Beth was laying against the back of the sofa, with Viv on her chest and the little puppy on Viv's chest, "I can't believe you bought us a little puppy." Beth smiled, "I knew you wanted one, I know I said when we retire but right now your happiness is worth more." Viv looked up at her girlfriend who was now crying again, "Baby don't cry." Viv laughed, Viv sat up carefully and swapped positions with Beth, "What shall we call her?" Viv asked as she ran her hand through Beth's hair, "Myle." Beth smiled, "Our little bubba Myle." Viv kissed Beth's forehead.

As the evening went on Beth felt herself getting tired, Viv knew exactly what Beth's next words were going to be, "Baby no." Viv smiled, "Oh but how cute is she?" Beth asked, "Baby, I know, but she's not sleeping in our bed." Viv reasoned, "Okay, okay." Beth sighed, "Beth, I'm serious, I love you and her so much but that ain't happening." Viv laughed, "I know." Beth rolled her eyes, Viv laughed, Viv pulled her closer to her, "We have tomorrow off, why don't we have a movie night and we can sleep down here with her tonight?" Viv suggested, Beth's eyes lit up, "Really?" Beth asked, "Yes bubs." Viv kissed her forehead, Beth smiled the cheesiest grin, "I'll go get the duvet." Viv just smiled at her girlfriend who had run to the bedroom and grabbed their duvet, Beth launched the duvet at Viv and then snuggled into Beth's chest, "Can we watch a movie?" Viv asked, Beth smiled and nodded her head and then rested it on Viv's chest while Myle snuggled into both of them, "I love you both so much, my baby girls." Beth mumbled, "We both love you more than words." Viv smiled and kissed her girlfriends head, then drifted off to sleep.

Hey,

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates, I've been so busy with exams the best few weeks, hence the lack of updates. But they're over now until after Christmas. There will be updates Tuesday and Friday as usual this week and the same with my other book too, but I wanted to get something small out for now.
