"I wonder if things are going well right now"

Samuel sat alone at his old desk in his overcrowded room, in constant worry of recent events. With so much going on, all of his subordinates are looking to him for help, and he worries that no amount of charisma will help keep them orderly.

Pushing aside old documents detailing important information regarding their missions and the cities of England, he lifted his hand up, and created a small elemental circle above his hand. A bright red in color, matching the flames dancing just right above the circle. It was a constant reminder of the power he held, but the same power he needed to control.

Unable to sit still, he extinguishes his spell, and gets up from his desk. He begins to pace back and forth in his room, recalling recent events.

Samuel had sent two of his subordinates on a mission to save Allen Fleming from execution. He intentionally sent two kids about the same age as Allen, in the hopes they will connect well, and perhaps even be willing to join their group.

"If it even is a group at this point, let alone a rebellion," Samuel said out loud, sighing. "We're nothing more than a band of bandits at this point"

Being the Fire Rebellion Commander, Samuel was in charge of their little group. Sending them on missions to retrieve information, cause disruptions, or save one of their own. There weren't much of them, considering most fire mages at this point were either killed or executed. That's why it was vitally important they could expand when they could, and that meant taking a risk here and there.

When it came to make the choice to save this Allen Fleming boy, it came down to a fifty-fifty as always. Half didn't want to take the risk. After all, he was an academy student, and may side with the Triumvirate despite the fact he would be executed anyways. The other half seeks for more members. More members equals more manpower.

The Fire Rebellion is unfortunately split on how they should act at any given time. About half seek to try peaceful relations with the Triumvirate, in hopes that past transgressions can be overlooked. The other half seek for destructive means, hoping to topple down the Triumvirate all together. Samuel however, is and always has been conflicted.

In the end, the choice was left to Samuel, as per usual. Samuel was on the mind to save the boy. If he attended the academy, he could surely give them valuable information, even if very little. And there was talk that he is a dual elemental mage. After all, how could he attend the academy if he only had the fire element?

"Well, there was that one matter," Samuel smiled for a brief moment. "But, we had gotten extremely lucky in that instance. If things had gone any differently, she would have been discovered..."

Either way, Samuel was in the mind to save the boy. If what he heard was true, Allen had saved one of their own. That was how they found out about him in the first place, after all. Having him could surely benefit them in the end.

"Though, sending those two to get him might have spiced things up a bit," Samuel shook his head. "Provided they all get along, they should be safe by now"

Although twins, they could be further from being the same. The sister has a kind and caring nature about her, looking out for her fellow fire rebellion members. However, she can sometimes be oblivious and not notice everything that's going on.

The brother was very cautious and noticed everything going on. However, he could be very blunt and could cause unnecessary conflict between fellow members on the occasion.

"Well with them covering each other's weaknesses, I'm sure they'll be fine," he sighed. "I need to stop worrying so much"

Deciding to push the matter aside for now, Samuel decided to take a seat at his desk once more, organizing his papers to the best of his ability. His eyes drifted to one specific document, which held information that they had only received very recently.

"The Sword of Fire...," Samuel said out loud, as his hand glossed the paper. "With it we could..."
The Sword of Fire, known as one of the Four Great Elemental Weapons, was lost years ago after the destruction of the Emberblaze family. The Emberblaze family was one of the four top elemental families, alongside Windblade, Rivertide, and Terrastone, until the fire outbreaks effectively caused many to lose trust in them. The Council of Magic at the time destroyed the Emberblaze family, for they were then considered a threat. The Sword of Fire was then lost, nowhere to be seen.

Normally the Sword of Fire would have chosen a new host almost instantly after the former host died. However, that wasn't the case, for presumably all of the Emberblaze family was murdered off. If the Sword of Fire didn't have a new suitable host, then it wouldn't go anywhere presumably.

There wasn't much else that Samuel knew about the sword, until the new source of information came in. If the source was real, it could be the revelation that could help make change, and give their rebellion the leverage they need.

However, just like anything else, this source of information had its risks with it. One wrong move, one small misstep, and they could be completely wiped out, with little chance to reform. But Samuel has always trusted his gut since the beginning, and it's how they've survived for this long. If his gut is telling him to trust the source, then perhaps...

"The Sword of Fire could be ours...," Solomon finished his thoughts out loud.

But if they wanted to retrieve it, it would have to be soon. With tension and change quickly brewing within London, they would only have so much time before it would be too late.

"However, with the Fleming boy..."

This Allen Fleming, could potentially be the person they needed right now. Perhaps the key they need to unlock the doors to a better future. The final puzzle piece to see the entire puzzle.

With reliable sources telling them that Allen Fleming is supposedly a unique and strong mage, Samuel's instincts are telling him that Allen Fleming will help change their Fire Rebellion one way or another.

"Will he be finally the beacon we need to bring about necessary change and prosperity for us all fire mages?," Samuel asked himself. "Or... will he be the omen to a horrible future, to where all of us finally meet our fate at the executioner's block?"
Regardless, with each passing day, more fire mages needlessly die by the hands of the Triumvirate, or find their safe passage to the Fire Rebellion. Many fire mages are calling for action within the rebellion, hoping to strike while the irons hot.

"Embers are surely forming... matching the strong emotions we always carry with us..."

Finally standing up from his desk and slipping his documents away, Samuel leaves his room, in anticipation for the good or bad news awaiting him regarding the rescue of Allen Fleming.
