Will Die In Love

Chapter 52

 " Adi.. No.. Adi.." Adi heard Sameer shouting from back in fear for quite some time. But needless to say, that didn't bother him at all. A twisted grin spread across his face. Adi looked truly psychotic as he opened the safety lock. 

" Stop. ADI STOP! STOP!" Sameer shouted terrorized as he realized Adi would end up causing a blunder. But he saw little to no change in his expression. He didn't dare to use his strength as Rishabh's life was dependent on that trigger. 

" IF YOU KILL HIM SHE WOULD HATE YOU FOREVER."

 Sameer blurted out with no other option left. 

" Paro doesn't love you, Adi! She loves Rishabh." 

Sameer decided to tell his friend the truth he needed to know.

 Everything around Adi suddenly stopped for an infinite time. Everything around him seemed to come crashing down as he processed Sameer's words. The gun held in his hand fell onto the ground. 

What did he just say? What type of silly fun was it? Leaving Rishabh, Adi came in front of Sameer.

" You!" Adi gnashed his teeth in fury.

This madness needed to be stopped. When Rishabh accused Adi of blackmailing Paro and said she was acting to be in love with Adi, Sameer was sure that Paro indeed loved Rishabh. He heard her confessing the same thing just a few hours ago. Did both of them plan it together? But why would Rishabh charge Adi then? For a moment he felt irritated with Paro. She created a mess in the first place she couldn't even handle by herself. 

" I what? That's the truth, Adi. Can't you see what you have become? God, how can you be so clueless? Look at the boy over there. He might DIE! YOU HAVE GONE MAD ADI! But even after all this, she doesn't love you. Rishabh is right. She only agreed to be your girlfriend just because she is scared of you! She loves the boy lying over there, you just beat the shit out of." 

Sameer shouted at the top of his voice, frustrated by his friend's action. He pulled his hair strongly not knowing what to do! He couldn't believe Adi was about to kill an innocent boy. Probably this was the worst option to let him know the truth. But he had to do this. 

Rishabh who was lying there almost unconscious couldn't believe Sameer's last words. She loved him! HIM! But why didn't she say anything to him then? But Sameer was Adi's friend. Why would he even lie about this? His lips slightly tugged upwards as he felt a soothing sensation even in his condition. 

" SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! Why are you lying? This can't be true. She loves me. MEEEE. All of you are trying to tear us apart? How could you say that Sameer? How could you! You are my best friend!" 

Adi's voice thundered. His tone was coated with desperation and anger. 

 Sameer gulped seeing his friend's condition. He never imagined he had to see Adi like this. 

" If I hadn't heard it by myself this evening, I wouldn't have said it." Sameer completed his words. 

The weight of his revelation suddenly made the air suffocating to breathe for Adi. As he listened Sameer was calling someone impatiently the sounds around him muted. He was still absorbing the magnitude of those words. 

"She…she lied to me! She never loved me! All these were lie… lies!"  

Adi's voice, trembling with a mix of fury and heartbreak. His fists trembled, his knuckles white from the tight grip. His fists now balled so tightly that his nails threatened to pierce his skin. His mind raced, attempting to put himself together with this sudden revelation. The truth hit him like a rumble of thunder, shattering the illusion he constructed inside his heart.
