Omg another one

Marley's POV

  "Andrea Bailey, Derrick Bernard, Henry Boston, Marley Brown, Destiny Cunningham..." They continued calling names as I walked across the stage with a smile stretching from ear to ear. I was ecstatic, to say the least. I can't believe it's graduation day, I never thought I was gonna get here. To be honest, even before the baby, I was so scared of myself and of the future.

  "Families, please hold your applause so everyone can hear their name get called." The announcer said, sternly.. and I know they said that because Tito, Marlon, and Janet started screaming while I walked across the stage. Poor Destiny Cunningham.. 🥺 oh well.

  I got my diploma, showing it off to everyone, excitedly, and walked off the stage, sitting back down as they called everyone else. Senior year has been insane. I gave birth to baby girl in  October, right at the beginning of the year so, dealing with a baby and night school has been. It's been a time... It's brought some funny moments.

**Flashback**

  "She shitted all over the crib Marley!" I burst out laughing. I was standing in the hallway outside my classroom. "Jermaine, what? Where's your brother.." he was crying on the phone. "It's everywhere! Tito stepped out to go to the store and I came in to check on her and oh my god.." he gagged and I sighed. "Get her out of the crib! I know my baby isn't laying in there." He put the phone down and I guess he picked her up. I know she woke cus she started crying too. I just called Tito to come get me because... Girl.

**End flashback**

  I wanna see baby Aniyah. She's in the crowd looking at her mommy graduate. I can't believe she's about to be 8 months old in a few days. I sit back in my seat, just waiting to be released. I'm done with high school, I'm so excited to start my life, start my life with Tito and Aniyah.

"Jermaine Jackson, Landon James.."

  I clapped and cheered for my brother in law, along with the rest of them kids, apparently too loud because there's that same old announcement.

"Families, friends, and graduates, please hold your applause until the end!"

Oops..

  The graduation ceremony continued and everyone called. I didn't participate in the cap throwing cus I paid good money for this. We get released and I make my way outside. There was this excitement buzzing in the air, this was the first day of our adult lives. My eyes met Aniyah's and she started smiling and I ran over to her and Tito, kissing her cheeks. "Did you see Mommy graduate? I'm so proud of you, you didn't cry or anything.."

  Tito wrapped his arm around my waist. "You know, we're proud of you too! Look at my little graduate.." he kissed me and I smiled, kissing him back. "Now I can't bully you for dating a highschool student." He giggled. "Hallelujah.."

  Jermaine walked over with Marlon and Janet. "We're done!" He exclaimed as he hugged me. "We're finally done.." I hugged him back, smiling. "We grown for real." Jermaine shook his head. "You're still seventeen, you started school early." I rolled my eyes. "Bye."

  I looked around. "Where's the rest of the kids." Tito shrugged and Marlon smirked playfully "Cone with me. You too Jermaine." We followed Marlon over and I saw Rebbie holding out a cake that said congratulations. La'Toya ran up to me and hugged me and Jermaine. "Congrats guys!" She squealed. I smiled and hugged her back, giggling. La'Toya is my bestie, guys.

**Flashback**

  "God, please stop crying..." I whispered to Aniyah, rocking her gently. La'Toya found me sitting up and sat with me. "Where's your boyfriend?" I looked at her. "Sleep." She sighed, shaking her head. "Let me see my nicey pooh." I handed her over and La'Toya held the tiny girl, she was only about a month or two. Aniyah was still crying and I watched La'Toya listen carefully. "You said what girl? You said... you said you're hot?"

  "How did you get 'I'm hot' from waaaaaah waaaah" I asked, seriously. "She doesn't even feel warm."

  "I got baby ears. It's a skill I learned with Dunk." La'Toya then proceeded to pull out a paper fan and fan Aniyah who then stopped crying.

  Safe to say, I got my thrill for the day. La'Toya rocked the baby to sleep and handed her back. "Niecy pooh just wanted to be difficult. She'll be aight." I gave her a gracious smile and I let out a relieved sigh. "Thank you, Toya." We got up and I put Aniyah right back in her crib and I went to sleep.

**End flashback**

  Michael was celebrating with Jermaine. He turned to me and grabbed my hands. "You know, I was concerned, I didn't think you'd be able to make it after I saw those math grades." He joked and I rolled my eyes "Get out my face.." we laughed and he hugged me. "Really though, I'm so proud of you, Marley. You are an amazing mother, you're so brilliant, you've really got some musical talent, and you're kind. You are gonna do so great in the real world and I'm so excited to see what impact you're gonna have on the world.."

  I started tearing up. I didn't think I was gonna get sad but that was so sentimental. "My impact? Look at you... Oh Michael, you're gonna make me cry.." I wiped a tear away and Marlon smirked at me. "You're mighty emotional, you're not pregnant again, are you?" I glared at him. "no I'm taking a little break from having kids. You know, I'm not ready to be pregnant for ten years straight unlike somebody we know-" I heard that soft voice behind me. "Who would that be?"

  I turned around and squealed. "Hey mom!" I hugged the queen herself, Katherine Jackson, my mommy for real. She hugged me back and Jermaine joined the hug too.

  "Oh, I'm so proud of my babies... Look at y'all.." the tears were flowing now y'all. I hugged Jermaine, crying on his shoulder. "WE really did it. It's really over.."
