We reached the cafe and Alex and Lily were already seated and were waiting for us to meet them inside where we would chat and eat for a bit before walking over to where the boat was.

We exited the car and I went right next to Charles as he got the bag out of the trunk. As we walked inside I spotted Lily who waved us over.

"Finally oh my god i thought you guys were never going to come !"

"Paps got us outside our building so it set us back a bit." Charles sat next to me and Lily looked at me with a smirk on her face. I just rolled my eyes and looked to see what I was going to order.

"What are you thinking of trying?" Charles turned to me.

"Oh I'm not sure i haven't been here in a long time." I said looking over the menu.

"I can get you the same thing as me I promise it's really good."

"I would love that actually, here i'll give you my card-"

"nonsense im paying." he said as he just got up to go order.

Now both Lily and Alex looked at me wide eyed.

"Why are you looking at me like that."

"oh i don't know maybe because you have charles wrapped around your finger??? Babe they're definitely dating." Lily turned to Alex as he nodded repeatedly.

"Not that again-"

"Not what." Charles said coming back with our drinks and pastries.

"Oh nothing just something from back home." I smiled at him while giving Lily the look to please not continue with that conversation.

"Since you guys took forever why don't we take these on the boat and eat them there. It'll be more privacy." Lily suggested as she stood up.

We all grabbed our things and made our walk a few minutes away to Charles' boat. As we walked Alex and Lily stayed behind us as Charles and I walked side by side having our own conversation about all the new places and sights in Monaco that i haven't seen yet.

Once we arrived we all quickly ate before changing into our swimsuits. Alex brought out some alcohol that he had. We drank and talked while we waited for the rest of our friends to arrive.

"Charles I swear don't you dare throw me in again!" I said running from him on the deck.

Charles grabbed me and held on to me as he jumped off into the water bringing me in with him. As we resurfaced I splashed some water in his face before trying to swim away.

"Where do you think you're going?" Charles grabbed me and pulled me close to him.

Our eyes met as i turned to face him. We said 1000 different things but nothing ever left our lips.

"They're gonna see us."

"They're not gonna see anything they don't already assume."

I hesitated. I wanted to kiss him just as much as he was implying he did as well but something in me was telling me not to. This is not something sober Lina would do right? Not yet at least.

"You're a bad influence Leclerc." I splashed more water in his face before breaking free from his hold and swimming back to the boat.

I went and sat on the front of the boat and laid down to tan a bit before I heard someone coming near.

"you just can't get enough of me now can you?" I looked up to see Charles sitting next to me.

"you're amazing company what can i say?"

"your company is nice too i guess."

"i guess?"

"mhm" i said turning my head to face him as i rested up on my elbows.

"Have any new ideas for the song?" He said changing the subject.

"I wrote the rest of it when i got home last night."

"then what are you going to work on at my place later?"

"we can make something new."

"so you're using me for ideas i see how it is."

"your ideas are oh so amazing Charles what would i ever do without you ?!" i said sarcastically as i got up quickly and shook his arm as i spoke.

He rolled his eyes as he just sat there next to me. My arm still intertwined with his as he played with my fingers.

"Thank you for bringing me here Charles."  I said as i looked out at the water.

"Id take you anywhere you'd want Lina." He turned to look at me again.

I turned at him and smiled softly. Without Charles this whole move would've been so much worse. In such a short amount of time he had managed to do so much for me. I looked back at the water as i put my head on his shoulder.

"I'm really glad we met Charlie."

"Charlie?"

"you call me by my nickname it's only fair if you have one too."

As the night continued on we continued to swim and chat before we went back to get more of our friends from the dock. We were very obviously no longer sober and everyone was scattered everywhere having various different conversations. Charles and I were stood a bit further away from the people in front of us as we often just had our own conversation. Charles had his arms wrapped around my waist pulling me into him as he stood behind me while i tried listening to the story Kika was telling a few feet away.

"You look really pretty today Lina." Charles said quietly so only i could hear.

"You're looking quite good as well." I turned to face him as i wrapped my hands around his neck.

"I don't know if this is a good idea but-"

"nothings ever a good idea when you're drunk, just do it." i answered back.

Charles leaned in and our lips instantly connected. Fireworks exploded throughout my body. It was short and sweet but it was just enough. It was enough to know that exactly what i felt, he felt the same.
