As the night went on, I had continued to get to know Charles more. He had 2 brothers, one younger one older. He and Max had known each other for years and even though they were rivals they were also extremely close. He liked playing the piano and even composed some songs which he was releasing.

"That's so cool you know I make music too! I'm currently writing an EP."

"Now you have to show me some of your music." He said pulling me up to where I was sitting and into the apartment that conveniently had a piano in the living room.

"Okay that's not fair you said you made music and you haven't showed me." I said crossing my arms.

"Well I'll show you after you sing a part of your songs." He said pulling me to sit next to him.

I sat there thinking what song I should sing. As I thought about it, Charles just looked at me while I avoided any eye contact.

"Um okay i'm gonna sing a part of a song that all my fans seem to like, it's called I miss you, I'm sorry." I said while preparing myself on the piano.

He just nodded and looked at me as i started playing

"You said forever and I almost bought it, I miss fighting in your old apartment.
Breaking dishes when you're disappointed, I still love you, I promise.
Nothing happened in the way I wanted, every corner of this house is haunted.
And I know you said that we're not talking, but i miss you, i'm sorry."

As I finished I looked over at Charles as he started to clap for me.

"Oh my god you have the voice of an angel."

"Thank you! i've been singing for a while so I guess i've had some practice." I said looking away from his eyes that felt as though they were piercing into my soul.

"So that song, is it about like an ex boyfriend? Sorry if that's too personal it's a beautiful song really-"

"I wrote it years ago about a boy that I had been with but I'm completely over that if that's what you're asking. I write a lot about the things i'm going through but also about things from the past whenever I'm lacking inspiration." I explained.

"Oh that's good, I mean not that it would be bad if it was it's just you know-"

"I get it trust me Charles. And it's your turn now." I said shoving him a little.

As he played the song that he composed I took the time to admire how concentrated and passionate he looked. Playing the piano had nothing to do with his job but he definitely loved it, there was no doubt about it. I had known this guy for a little over 3 hours and I could start to feel the pounding in my chest and the butterflies in my stomach just looking at him. I had been looking at him so deeply I hadn't realized he finished until his eyes met mine causing me to look at the piano quickly.

"So what did you think Lina? Or were you too busy staring at me to listen. I can play it again if you'd like." He said with that smirk again.

"Shut up I was paying attention. It's a beautiful song as well. " I said while standing up from the piano as I felt my face growing hot again.

"Here you guys are! We wondered where you guys snuck off to. They put P to bed so they're officially bringing out the drinks come on!" Lily said pulling me away from where I stood, Charles following right behind us.

"Kika and Pierre should be arriving soon they had to go to dinner with her parents but they're gonna stop by for a bit." Lily told me.

"And sorry Charles but we're gonna steal Lina from you because we haven't caught up in so long so run along now ." Lily said while pushing Charles over to where the guys were gathered.

"So you've hit it off with Charles quite easily I see." Kelly said wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Oh calm down we've only just met." I said as Lily returned.

"Yeah it's the first time you've met but you've talked to him for like the whole 3 hours you were here." Lily joked.

"I ran into him in the elevator of my building earlier, I guess he lives there too. We never met before he didn't know who I was so he just kinda welcomed me to the building." I said nonchalantly.

"So he's been putting those moves on you since before you even got here? At this rate you'll get married before the summer break is even over!"

Kika and Pierre walked in saving me from being further interrogated.

"It's so nice to finally meet you! I've heard so many good things about you and I love your music!" Kika hugged me tightly.

"Yeah she wouldn't stop talking about how excited she was to see you." Pierre said with a laugh as he gave me a side hug.

"I'm glad to see you guys too! It's nice to finally be able to get to know everyone." I said smiling at them before we split back into our groups.

We talked about all the things they had been working on and how their relationships were going. Kelly had told us that her and Max had a talk about moving into a house as they were going to be in Monaco a lot more often now. Lily was talking about how she hated that she constantly had to be moving between Monaco and the states since she plays golf in the US but loves spending time with Alex in Monaco or wherever he races. I told them how I was making a new EP and I was excited to finally get over my writers block. Kika had been taking some new modeling jobs and her and Pierre had discussed maybe moving in together in a place here in Monaco.

Overall the night was spent telling stories about the past and our plans for our futures while laughing with the people we loved most. This may have been one of the first times I have hung out with everyone but it really felt like the start of something amazing.
