i spent it in the studio with sabrina, shawn, and nailea! honestly was a very chill and productive day with some amazing people so i can't complain 😊

can't say i miss much to be completely honest but i'd say my friends for sure. New York has started to feel more like home to me so if i could grab them all and drag them here i'd be the happiest girl alive.

i can't say much but i love each song equally in its own way. they all showcase a part of me and my life and i can't just pick and choose one. i will say the ones i write with shawn have been stuck in my head more though 🙃

Shawn had invited me to hang out as I had been locked in the studio for days now. I agreed as I knew I needed a break away from everything. We had agreed to take a drive around the city and stop when we found something interesting. Somewhere along the way we found a pretty quiet street with a cute café on the corner.

"I can't remember the last time I went out just to have fun." I say as we sit down with our drinks.

"We hung out just a few days ago with friends" he laughed slightly.

"It feels like a lifetime away. I've been so caught up with writing and recording to get this album out before I head to monaco in may it's like i've lost all sense of time."

"why don't you take a break? you're so ahead already and if you keep this up you'll get burnt out lina." worry flashes over his face as he tries to examen mine.

"i know but i just don't know where to go. i dont want to leave Tarzan because he's literally my other half right now and-"

"Then come to Canada with me for a bit. I've been meaning to go anyways just for a break before tour anyways. Tarzan is more than welcome in my home. I've had dogs when I was younger so it'll be fine."

"I can't just go to your family home Shawn." I said wide eyed.

"Sorry I should've clarified.  I have my own place in Toronto so Tarzan staying with us there is not an issue. We wouldn't be staying at my parents house. " He said laughing at my shocked expression.
