"Hey you are okay right?" I ask
"It felt real" she whispers rubbing her nose with mine
I could feel her warm breath on my face as she spoke to me, the way she held my face rubbing her nose against mine to soothe herself was adorable. She has done it a couple times before too when I was angry at her for hurting her hand.
"It's not, just a dream" I assure her
"I was back in that room, my old room. He locked me there" she whispers
i listen to her with no words, she had more she wanted to say so I didn't want to interrupt or break her flow
"He did it because ma had to wake up in the middle of the night becasue I was having a nightmare" she whispers
how cruel is he? I mean come on locking up your daughter becasue she was having a nightmare, thats bullshit
"Nandini you are okay, im right here" I whisper
She nods holding me close to her, I run my hand on her back gently relaxing her, I rest my forehead against her
"I tried to be a good girl but I can't control my dreams"
i tilt her chin up at me pulling back
"You are such a good girl nandini, he isn't a good father but that doesn't mean you blame yourself. You did nothing wrong and I will not sit here adn hear you put yourself down, you are the best girl"
"Don't be so nice, you'll fall in love with me" she says making me smile
"I wouldn't mind that" I whisper
"Wait really?" She asks jumping up
"We are bound to fall in love, we live together 24/7" I tell her
"Oh shut up dude, you know im amazing and thats why you will fall in love"
"Do you want us to fall in love" I ask smiling
"Don't you" she asks back kissing my cheeks
fuck, I do, I want to, I am! I am falling for her and it's scary because it's only been a couple months together
"Im growing old like you waiting for an answer" she giggles
"I do" I say
"Good because I am going to make sure the most eligible bachelor falls in love with me"

She is the only woman who will make me feel this way, the agony I feel when I can't have her close to me, the way my heart picks up when she smiles at me, the pride in my heart when I hold her hands. Gosh it is so overwhelming to be with her in all the good ways

A grin covers her face making me smile too, she plays with the collar of my shirt smiling at me
"Do you think you can take me somewhere away from here?" She asks me
"Of course, I was thinking we could go somewhere out for our honeymoon" I suggest
"Somewhere with a beach, I have so many bikinis" she sys like it's the end of the world
"Yeah? Wanna give me a runway show" I ask smirking at her
"I can, you think you can handle yourself?" She smirks back
This is exactly what I love, she challenges me without thinking of any consequences not that there are any
"I think I can" I reply
"I doubt but how about we make a bet"
"A bet? We aren't in high school" I chuckle
"Yeah? Yet your mental health is of a high schooler so shut up. We are making a bet" she rambles
"Hey watch your words" I warn her
"Bet please" she says
"Whats the bet" I ask
"If you can sit through me walking out in all bikinis I have, I will do anything you want but if you touch me or can't sit through it then you are going to take a very nice picture with me"
"I can take the picture without this bet too"
"Silly in m bikini" she says and I frown at her
"The fuck? You do realize I would practically be naked and if you do wanna see me naked all you gotta do is ask mrs malhotra" she smacks my arm a little

I get off the couch standing right in front of her, she looks up at me, I kiss her forehead grabbing her chin
"I think I just need something else to keep these lips busy so I don't say much, don't you think so?" I ask
she hums but I know she was lost in my touch, my fingers run down her bare arm as I watch her eyes darken and her breathing pick up. I love how responsive she is to me
"Manik" the door snaps open
"GET THE FUCK OUT" I scream at whoever it was
"It's important"
"Don't because a monster, thats reserved for me" nandini whispers kissing my chest backing up from my chest standing beside me
I turn to look at the door, finding veebha standing there, god she is so fuckign annoying.
"what?" I snap at her
"I need you to come in the meeting room right now, your father and her father are here" she says
"We will be there" I say
"Just you, not her" she says snickering at Nandini who rolled her eyes at Veebha's behaviour
"Her is mrs malhotra or nandini to you" I said grabbing my phone
"Yeah well nandini you are not needed in the meeting" she says
"I didn't ask for your advice veebha" I say before grabbing nandini's hand walking out of the office
"Why does she not like me?" Nadnini asks
"Im not sure, have you done something"
"No, I don't think so I mean there is literally no reason for her to be bitchy to me unless oh my fucking god" she screams as we enter the meeting room
