Haley ran off the bus into the farmers arms. Her year long stay at baking school was finally over. Now she can open her own bakery!
"I've already talked with the mayor; we can open the bakery by the general store!" Haley said excitedly.
"That's amazing!" The farmer hugged her tighter, then let go.
"I need to start planning my menu and the decorations and the-" she cut off her own words, "I'm gonna go home and start planning!"
She grabbed the farmers hand and ran home. She pulled out her notebook and started looking at her drawings. She circled some things and crossed out others.
"Drink.. we need drink..." she mumbled to herself.
"Haley, the bakery was already built," the farmer told her.
"WHAT!" She screamed, "I-I though I had more time,"
"Come with me," the farmer grabbed her hand.
They walked over to the town. The second Haley saw the bakery her jaw dropped. Her eyes lit up.
"It's... beautiful," She said in awe.
She looked inside and saw a display of her favorite baked goods to make.
"You can still make your own menu and everything, but I thought this was a good start for your business," The farmer said.
Haley turned around to the farmer then hugged them.
"Thank you," she responded.
The next few days she was in the bakery 24/7. She was planning out her schedule and menu and even seeing a few customers.
During festivals people from out of town got to try her baked goods. Eventually people from all over came to her bakery. She was even asked if she wanted to move to a bigger location and the city. She denied saying she liked it here.
