Lewis was just on a call when they governor knocked on his door. Lewis hung up his call and answered the door.
"Well hello governor! What brings you here?" Lewis asked.
"Have a seat mayor," the governor told him in a stern town.
Lewis and the governor sat down.
"We've had a few complaints about you," The governor told Lewis.
"About what?" Lewis asked, confused.
"That the mayoral election was rigged in your favor,"
"That's ridiculous!" Lewis exclaimed. "What's the proof?"
"Well due to the fact that only one person actually voted for you," he responded.
"Who did?" Lewis asked.
"Marnie," the governor answered.
Lewis sighed and finally agreed that the election was rigged in his favor. He explained it by saying that he's the best Mayor for this town.
"Well, your fired," the governor told him.
"You can't do this! I have one year left before the next election!" Lewis yelled out.
"Lewis, you didn't win the last election,"
"Then who did?" Lewis asked.
"Well funny you ask, she's here right now," the governor said, turning his gaze to the door.
Marnie walked in.
"Marnie? She doesn't want to be mayor!" Lewis yelled out.
"Actually, yes I do!" Marnie replied, "I can do better things for this town than you ever did,"
"Then why did you vote for me?" Lewis asked Marnie.
"Because I thought I still had feelings for you, but now I know your true colors," Marnie replied. "Now get out of my office!"
Lewis resisted but eventually left.
"I trust you will take better care of this town?" the governor asked Marnie.
"Yes, I will," Marnie assured him.
Lewis was angrily walking down the street when he remembered.
"Don't I live there?" Lewis asked himself.
Lewis went back to his house and opened the door.
"You can't just take my house you know!" Lewis yelled out.
"Actually I just remembered, your going to jail," the governor told him.
"What?" Lewis panicked.
"Yeah, rigging an election is a crime you know!" The governor told him.
Lewis was taken away to jail and Marnie was made mayor. The governor waved bye to Marnie as he left,
