Sayori

"Hey, Y/N!!"

You immediately recognized Sayori's voice, even through the noise of the other students crowded in the hallway. She dashed through the sea of people, narrowly avoiding a few collisions and almost tripping before making it to your side.

"Here you are," she huffed, quickly fixing her hair before beaming brightly. "Sorry, this is so random, but are you still looking for a club to join? You kinda looked like it, so I figured I should ask."

"Yeah, actually." You gestured at the bulletin board in front of you. You'd been looking at different flyers for a few minutes. "I haven't really narrowed it down yet, but—"

"It's okay, that's great!!" Sayori exclaimed, grabbing your hand in excitement. "Y/N, I know I've already asked, but would you pleeeeease consider checking out my club?? I'm the vice president, y'know!! You'd be my favorite— and really, it's a lot of fun!!"

You laughed, her contagious energy spreading to you. "What club is it again?"

"Literature Club!! And wait, before you roll your eyes—" Sayori darted between you and the board like she could block every other club option. "It's really, really great. It's kinda small, so you don't need to worry about interacting with, like, dozens of other people. Plus, everyone is really great, and I actually just convinced MC to join!! He was reluctant at first, but he actually really likes it, and—"

"Sayori, it's okay," you managed to get out through your giggling. "You don't need to convince me. I'll just come check it out for a day, okay?"

"Really?" An overjoyed smile immediately spread across her face. "Oh my gosh, thanks, Y/N!! I honestly wasn't expecting you to agree so quickly, hehe!!"

You shook your head playfully. "Well, I'm not MC. Wasn't he trying to join the anime club or something? He must have taken a while to convince."

"I mean, yeah! But he's a nerd," Sayori joked before grabbing your hand again and tugging you down the hallway. "C'mon, the club's about to start!! I can't wait for you to meet everyone!! I'm so glad you're joining the Literature Club."

"Hey, I'm not joining for sure," you protested, though you put little to no force behind the statement.

"Nah. You'll definitely want to stay." Sayori shot you a wink over her shoulder. "If not for the club, then at least for me, right?"

"Geez, Sayori, I feel a little threatened," you teased, but didn't say anything denying her statement.

Eventually, the hallways began to calm down as she led you further into the building. After a few minutes of walking, you finally arrived in front of a closed door. Nothing outwardly remarkable, but you could hear the sounds of people talking inside. Sayori took a deep breath before grabbing the door handle and smiling at you.

"Welcome to the Literature Club, Y/N."

Monika

You didn't know who you expected when Sayori dragged you into the club room, but it definitely wasn't Monika of all people. Your expression must have been completely flabbergasted, because Sayori broke out giggling when she looked back at you.

Monika was also smiling when you looked back at her, looking like she was trying to hold back laughter as well. "Hello again, Y/N!! Are you here to join the Club?"

"Uh— yeah, I am," you said, quickly getting over your initial shock. "Sayori convinced me to join, so..."

"Well, as the president of the club, I'd love to formally welcome you, ahaha!!" Her smile widened as she held out her hand. "Thanks for giving the Literature Club a chance."
