Nothing is the same

On the day Hiccup left, the entire Berk wasn't really sad.

They were all tricked and angry at Hiccup.

Some who thought Hiccup was still useless were cheering.

Snotlout, Fishlegs and the twins were in the Great Hall celebrating. Most vikings were.

But Astrid wasn't like them. She understood what happened. She actually understood Hiccup.

Everyone on Berk were all talking bad about Hiccup.

Stoick on the other hand was angry at Hiccup. He never knew that Hiccup, is own son would do such a traitorous thing.

Stoick and Gobber were sitting in Stoick's room.

"I should have seen the signs Gobber! We made a deal!"

"I know Stoick but it's Hiccup. Didn't you remember what yer told me? That lad has no idear what he's doing!"

"Your right Gobber. Thanks."

"Anytime mate."

It's been a couple years since that day. Berk has not been any different. Astrid was still a warrior but not a dragon killer. She didn't want to kill dragons.

However, in order to be useful, Astrid had to marry into a family by the age of twenty-one. If she couldn't fight dragons, she had to reproduce and give Berk an off-spring that might actually be a dragon killer.

The thing was, Astrid only loved Hiccup. She was a shield maiden, not a housewife. But that wasn't her choice.

Stoick tried to make Snotlout the heir but everyone didn't like that idea. Well, most people. The yorgonson family did.

Stoick gave up the idea to find a heir eventually.

A few years after Hiccup so called 'betrayal', nothing's really changed.

Astrid had her hair in a looser braid and he clothes became a bit more feminine

Snotlout still had a crush on Astrid and his height never changed.

Fishlegs was still a nerd. He was still pretty obsessed with dragons. He helped the others by telling the dragons weaknesses.

Tuff and Ruff dedicated their lives to Loki.

Fishlegs and Ruffnut unexpectedly fell in love.

The were still enemies made as well as dragon raids.

That one faithful day......

Astrid was on her way to the Arena to go and train with the others. As usual, she would walk through the village.

Just then, a mother scolding her child caught her attention.

"Now you listen here!"

"No!"

"If you don't, you will become that traitor Hiccup.."

The child immediately went to hug the mother.

"No! He's a terrible person! I don't want to be like him! I'm sorry mom!"

Astrid clenched her fist. They didn't know the real story.

All they heard were rumors.

She just shoved them off and headed to the Arena to train.

When Astrid was starting to get to the Arena, she saw Ruff and Tuff going the other way.

"Hey Astrid!" Ruff said.

"Oh hey twins."

"Where are you going?"

"To train of course."

"Don't bother. The chief wants to have a meeting at the Great Hall. I was just about to tell you."

"With the whole village?"

"Not really. Just Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuff, me and you."

"Well all right then."

The three started heading to the Great Hall, unknowing what was going to happen next....
