It's been a couple days since Astrid found out that the famous Dragon Master turned out to be Hiccup Horrendous Haddock iii.
Astrid would head to the forest in the afternoon and leave at night.
Astrid started to miss training, everyone started to get suspicious, well mainly the gang.
Astrid was just walking to the forest when Fishlegs spotted her.
"Hey Astrid!"
"Fishlegs?"
"Where have you been?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well after you came back from berserker Island, you stopped coming for training. Have you been feeling, okay?"
Astrid wanted to tell his that Hiccup was still alive and living his best life but she made a promise.
"You know the whole bride thing and the bride we're supposed to protect?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, Chief decided to make me that bride."
"W-what! You shouldn't risk your happiness!"
"Yeah. I have to do it. If I do this, Berk might be safe forever. I want all you of to be safe. You're my friends."
Well...... I guess so but what does you missing your training have anything to do with that?"
"Well, Heather gave me some advice. She advised me to spend some time to enjoy Berk while I can. I only have one and a half week left here on Berk."
"Well, I won't trouble you then, have fun!"
"Thanks, Fishlegs."
Astrid watched as Fishlegs was out of sight and headed to the Arena. She sighed.
'I wish I could tell Fishlegs but... I need to keep to my promise. Astrid Hofferson does not go back on her word.'
She just headed back on her journey.
Soon, she reached the forest. She slowly entered. Soon, she reachd the meeting place. There were logs there, all placed on the ground acting as stools. She and Hiccup put that together.
"Guess he's late."
"Guess who's late?"
Astrid immediately turned to the voice.
"Don't worry M'lday. It's just me." Hiccup said putting his mask up to his head.
Astrid punched his in the shoulder with all her might.
"What is wrong with you!"
Hiccup just laughed.
"Your cute."
Astrid blushed.
"W-what! I-I...'m not!"
Hiccup laughed again.
"Your so cute when you're flustered."
Hiccup pulled her in.
Astrid went on her tippy toes and the two kissed.
"Your lucky I love you."
"Yup. Super lucky."
The two leaned nearer to each other slowly. They closed their eyes and were about to kiss.
"What in the name of Thor!"
