The dragon master

Identity revealed

Hiccup and Astrid turned to the sound.

It was Gobber!

Gobber immediately ran.

"Oh dear..." Hiccup whispered.

Hiccup put his helmet back in place.

The couple immediately ran after Gobber.

Gobber barged into the great hall, where a meeting with the gang was held.

"Gobber?" Stoick muttered.

The gang immediately turned their attention to Gobber who was panting at the door.

"That dragon master.... It's... Hiccup!" Gobber shouted.

Everyone gasped in shock.

Just then, Hiccup and Astrid ran in.

"Hiccup?" Stoick muttered softly.

Hiccup's eyes widened in shock.

They were too late; Gobber had already told them.

"Uh... Surprise?" Hiccup said.

"Wait what!" Snotlout shouted.

'Great. Just great.' Hiccup thought to himself.

"Son?" Stoick said walking towards Hiccup.

"You don't get to call me that." Hiccup muttered.

Stoick stopped in his tracks.

"What?"

"You. You treated me like an outcast! I was your son! But all you ever did was told me on how terrible I was! You never treated me like your son! You even disowned me! You're not my father, not anymore."

Hiccup walked out of the great hall.

Astrid immediately ran after Hiccup.

It hit Stoick. He had been a terrible father.

"Babe!" Astrid shouted.

Astrid kept on shouting trying to get Hiccup's attention but Hiccup didn't stop, not for one second. 

"Please!"

Astrid grabbed Hiccup's hand causing him to stop.

Hiccup turned around.

"What!" Hiccup shouted.

"I-I.. I just wanted to see if you were alright."

"I told you! I should not have came here! But did you listen? No! Of course not!"

Astrid stood there in fear, Hiccup had never shouted at her before.

"Astrid.. I... I need some time..." Hiccup uttered.

Hiccup immediately ran.

Astrid just watched. She had never seen him lose his temper before.

Hiccup was sitting on the cliff, crying. Toothless who was sitting beside him saw everything. He tried to nudge his rider to improve his mood but it didn't help.

"I'm.. fine t-toothless.."

He himself knew that he should not have vented his anger on Astrid. He just couldn't control himself.

"Thought I would find you here."

Hiccup turned around to see Astrid.

Hiccup wiped his tears and avoided as much eye contact possible with Astrid.

"I'm sorry..."

"I know you didn't mean it. You were mad."

"I didn't want to shout at you. Please, believe me. I couldn't control it. Please forgive me, I don't know what I would do without you."

Astrid sat beside him.

"It's okay you know. You're just human. We all lose our temper every now and then. It was just that I was a bit shocked. I've never seen you lose your temper before."

Hiccup looked down guiltily. 

"Buy you know what, that's fine."

Hiccup lifted his head slightly.

"It is?"

"Yes! No matter what happens, I will love you. No matter what."

Astrid lifted Hiccup's mask and the two finally shared a moment.

After a short while, the two finally pulled away from each other.

"What do I do Astrid?"

"What do you mean?"

"My identity. It's been revealed! Hiccup has a terrible reputation while the dragon master has a great one. How will I face anyone again?"

"We can do this. We've been through so much together, we can do this, as long as we're together."

"I love you Astrid."

"I know, I know."
