It's been a couple of days since Astrid left with the dragon Master. Stoick was not really happy. I mean without telling anyone a goodbye? Not to mention, Hiccup didn't accept the truce because they were going to give him a maiden. Astrid wanted to go with Hiccup, it was her choice, not a sacrifice. Fishlegs was now the new leader and he had quite a couple of new duties. Now, he had to deal with the gang and had to help the chief.
There was a meeting at the Great Hall. When the meeting ended, everyone left but Stoick told Fishlegs to stay.
"Is there anything wrong Chief?"
"I know that you and your gang saw the dragon Master with Astrid before she left. What are you not telling me?"
"What do you mean?"
"You should know the dragon Master's identity."
"What? Of course not! He kept on wearing a mask. We could not even see a glimpse of him."
"Well, I have a mission for you and your gang. Go find Astrid and bring her back."
"What?"
"you heard me, bring Astrid back here."
"But sir, we have no idea where she might be."
"You and your gang have two months to find her. Bring her back here. You will be given the essentials to your gang. The only thing you need to do is find her and bring her back to Berk. You got that?"
"Yes Sir..."
"Good. Now go say your goodbye's what so ever. You will be leaving tomorrow, first thing in the morning."
Fishlegs nodded his head and headed out of the great hall.
But that conversation was a month ago....

Hiccup was in his forge, improving his sword of fire, inferno.
There were papers and materials he needed to use to improve his weapon.
Just then, he saw two hands covering his eyes.
"Guess who?"
Hiccup knew it was Astrid but wanted to play around with her.
"Hmmm. I wonder. Linza?"
Astrid was getting ready to punch him and Hiccup knew too.
"I'm kidding! I know it's you Astrid. I don't even know who Linza is."
Astrid took her hands off Hiccup's face.
The two faced each other.
Astrid punched his shoulder with all her force.
"Ow! That actually hurt!"
"That's for scaring me thinking you cheated on me!"
Astrid leaned in and gave Hiccup a short kiss.
"And that's for making me your wife."
Hiccup gave a chuckle.
"Is something wrong Hiccup?"
"It's just..."
"Don't be shy, spit it out."
"Daguer told me that Fishlegs and the rest of the gang were camping at Berserker Island. They want to see you, it seems to be urgent."
"Well, let's get going. They are still my friends and friends keep each other's back. You should know that, you and Daguer practically call yourself brothers.
Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruff and Tuff are my childhood friends, it is time to go and help them. Don't you think so?"
Hiccup nodded.
Astrid immediately went to grab her armor and so did Hiccup.
Soon, Astrid took off with Stormfly and Hiccup took off with Toothless.
