Astrid had just reached the cliffs expecting nobody to be there but that wasn't really the case.

Astrid saw a figure sitting at the cliff. They wore a black suit. Astrid recognised them immediately.

"Dragon Master?"

Hiccup turned his head to face Astrid.

"You know you can just call me by my real name, right?"

"Yeah, but I didn't know if anyone was here."

Hiccup starts to walk over to Astrid and takes her hand.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah..."

"I know that look. What's wrong?"

"It's just that Stoick asked me about information on your name and appearance... I nearly said that you were his son but... I didn't. I don't know, maybe he will ask me again? I can't lie to him Hiccup, he's my chief!"

Hiccup pondered for a while. He couldn't let Astrid keep on getting questioned.

"Pack you stuff."

"What?"

"You can live with me."

"But wouldn't that mean that I'm running away from my village?"

"Yeah."

"But what about the gang Hiccup! Their my friends!"

"We can visit them every week. Leave them notes and explain everything to them. You'll be safe with me, I promise."

"I guess you right. I'll see you later."

"Meet here. Same place. I'll wait for you. Take as much time as you need."

"Thanks."

With that Astrid left the cliff and headed for her hut.

Astrid was in her hut not packing but really writing down a letter to give to the most responsible person left in the group, Fishlegs.

Dear Fishlegs

I'm sorry. I decided to leave Berk and live with the dragon master. You know about the whole marriage for the truce thing. When you read this message, I would have already left. The dragon Master has promised me that I could come back every week but I don't think I'm going to. I mean I don't want one day when I come back, Stoick finds us and reveals the dragon master's identity. I don't want that to happen. I don't want anything to happen to you, or the rest of the gang. You're the most responsible so, I deem you as the new leader. I hope that one day, one day we will meet again.

-Astrid Hofferson

When Astrid was done with her letter, it was starting to get dark. Astrid took out a bag and put all her essentials in. Her clothes, weapons and rubber bands. She grabbed the letter she just wrote not long ago along with her bag and left the hut. She dropped off the letter at the ingerment house, where Fishlegs stayed. The village was dark. Nobody could see her. Everyone was fast asleep. Soon, Astrid arrived to the cliff and saw a figure and a dragon.

"Hiccup?"

Hiccup turned his head and so did Toothless.

"Told you I would wait for you."

"I made up my mind, I don't think I want to visit them every week, I want to stay with you."

"Astrid, I'm not the controlling type, you can do it if you want to."

"I appreciate the kind off but no."

"You're not going to say goodbye to your friends?"

"It's not really a goodbye, it's more of a see you later."

"Alright then. Shall we get going M'lady?"

Hiccup said taking out his hand.

"We shall."

Astrid took Hiccup's hand and they both got onto Toothless.

Soon they were in the air. Toothless was going to zoom away and head to dragon's edge immediately Hiccup stopped him.

They were now right on top of Berk.

"Why did you stop?"

"Thought you might wanted to take a last look."

Astrid looked down at Berk. All the memories she made there. But that was the past, she wanted to focus on the future. But it hurt, knowing that she made friends there but had to leave them. A teardrop escaped her eye.

"Let's go."

Astrid said looking back at Hiccup.

Hiccup took out his hand at wiped the tear away.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Positive."

"Alright then."

Soon, they left Berk and headed for dragon's edge.
