Many things will happen, but they will NOT define who you are.

Sometimes we feel so overwhelmed kapag biglang nagbato ang buhay ng isang massive curveball or when we make a huge mistake that completely ruins our plans. We tend to internalize our failures, bad grades, rejections, or even the toxic treatments we receive from others, absorbing them na parang sila na 'yung official identity natin. We lose sleep thinking na porke nag-fail tayo sa isang exam, failed na rin tayo bilang tao, or porke iniwan tayo ng isang tao, we are no longer worthy of being loved.

Pero ang totoo, realizing that many things will happen, but they will NOT define who you are is like an undiscovered treasure mine ng deep relief at self-worth. The events in your life are just chapters, hindi sila 'yung buong libro ng pagkatao mo. No matter kung gaano pa kabigat ang pinagdaanan mong trauma, kamalian, o mga unexpected setbacks in the past, kapag na-realize mo na hiwalay ang identity mo sa mga naging sitwasyon mo, it's literally like giving your tired soul a tender, warm, and reassuring embrace.

Grabe ang nagagawang transformation kapag natutunan mong i-detach ang halaga mo sa mga panlabas na pangyayari dahil it will totally change how you look at your future.

You don't really have to let your past mistakes or current struggles dictate kung hanggang saan ka lang pwedeng makarating; the main point here is that you are always bigger than your circumstances. Your value as a person doesn't change just because nagkaroon ka ng bad day, a bad year, or a messy experience. Every time na feeling mo down na down ka na dahil sa mga negativity sa paligid mo, just remind yourself na those are just temporary events at hinding-hindi nila mababago kung sino ka talaga deep inside.

Just dust yourself off and let go of the heavy emotional baggage you've been carrying. Stop letting your circumstances define your limits, dahil ang totoo, you are the author of your own story—and no external event has the power to erase the beautiful potential that you hold.
