 Again.

Again.

Again.

And again.

The same day, over and over again.

If he wasn't already, Blade might have thought that he was going insane.

Kafka went missing at some point during the first repeat never to be seen again and by the time he realized what was going on, even Silver Wolf who usually prefers just staying in a room somewhere was nowhere to be found as well.

Just out of pure curiosity, or maybe it was the mara, Blade had completely destroyed half of the city they were in, but to no one's surprise, it was fine the next day.

"Tsk! Damn stellaron."

For the first time in a while, BLade was absolutely regretting coming to this stellaron retrieval with the two women.

On his nth day on this planet, he decided to explore a bit farther into this seemingly endless city. What could possibly happen? He couldn't die, and if he did somehow manage to do so on this little outing, then that's that much better.

Aside from countless monsters created by the stellaron's influence, he didn't find anything new today either.

Or so he thought.

BOOM!

Along with the sound of a large explosion, the road under Blade's feet was soon folded with water carrying debris and the remains of monsters created by the stellaron.

Looking at the water under his feet, Blade's eyes flashed and he immediately bolted in the direction of the explosion.

Even though he somewhat knew what to expect, he still froze in place when he arrived.

There he stood, a familiar figure standing in the middle of a crater, surrounded by water. While he had seen him on the Loufu not too long ago this time was much different.

Aside from a set of horns, this time his tail also appeared behind him and the level of power he was exhibiting was far above what Blade had experienced during the fight with that little kid.

Just as he thought this, he locked eyes with a pair of glowing blue ones.

'No! Something is wrong!'

That pair of eyes that he expected to be filled with shock, anger, or maybe fear, were completely empty and void of any emotion. His eyes were a bit hazy, as if-

'Damn! He's completely lost it!'

As if confirming his thoughts, a giant water dragon shot toward him the next instant.

At first, Blade was prepared to face it head-on and block the hit, but he changed his mind last minute.

A great choice, he discovered when the giant beam of water directly turned at least six or seven streets worth of buildings into dust in the direction where he stood just seconds before.

'What the hell?! This level of power is no less than what he held in his prime! Wasn't some of it supposed to be passed down already?!'

It was only natural for Blade to be shocked. Be it back on the Loufu just a few weeks ago or the countless times they had fought, Dan Heng had never shown this much raw power.

'Could it be because he lost his mind he's acting purely on muscle memory?'

But that couldn't be it. Setting aside the fact that this body of his shouldn't even have muscle memory of his past incarnation, it shouldn't be possible for him to exhibit this amount of power. Some of it clearly should have been and was passed down to the next generation high elder.
