After having a long conversation with the still somewhat offended Dan Heng, the two of them came to an agreement about their schedule for the near future.

They would spar for a few hours every day. Not for too long as Dan Heng still needed to retain enough energy to suppress the mara in Blade and as the stellaron hunter very clearly expressed, he wasn't enough of a masochist to want to continuously take a beating from an out-of-control vidyadhara for long periods of time daily.

This, however, gave them a whole lot of free time.

While Dan Heng mostly used this time to meditate, Blade had nothing much to do.

It was during one of these rather boring periods that he discovered something unpleasant to look at. The second he saw it, he pulled Dan Heng right out of meditation to glare at him.

He waved Cloud Piercer in front of the confused vidyadhara, pointing out minuscule cracks along the weapon, no one but its creator had any way of noticing.

It took quite a bit of convincing on Blade's part to get Dan Heng to agree to let him take the spear and fix it and while he only expressed his annoyance at the continuous refusal, deep down he was glad and happy that one of his most precious creations was still being cherished and valued.

While Blade was happy that he finally found something to do, Dan Heng was making himself busy as well. It may have looked like he was just meditating, but in reality, he was, to his displeasure, talking to Dan Feng.

It was around the third day of their routine that the other first interrupted his meditation and pulled him back into this weird little illusionary world of his.

Dan Heng's first instinct had been to smack the rude idiot on his head for interrupting someone while in meditation, only to be slammed to the floor instead with a smirking Dan Feng looking down at him.

"The level of strength is the same, but you don't know how to properly use it. How about I teach you?" He had said back then.

While Dan Heng was extremely against the idea of having to interact with him even a second longer, after some thought, he had to admit that the other was indeed right.

What he had done on the Luofu was purely instinctual and couldn't be counted as him knowing what he was doing. That was one of the reasons he had never used those powers when Blade came after him in the past.

So, begrudgingly, Dan Heng had to watch and listen as Dan Feng explained all that was to know about his powers.

While his mood did take a tremendous hit, his control over his powers as well as his overall combat ability improved at a tremendous speed.

Even Blade was shocked when he found himself unable to keep up with the vidyadhara after just a week.

Actually, it wasn't just Blade that was shocked. Dan Feng too, was left completely speechless by Dan Heng's rate of improvement. That was until he heard the other mutter:

"The faster I learn this, the less time I have to spend time with this rude b*stard."

 Well...

That was one kind of motivation.

Naturally, this wasn't all they would do.

During this time, it was Dan Heng who took care of their meals as Blade refused to do so.

Using his own words:

"While I do know how to cook, my cooking is nowhere near as good as yours so instead of having me cook and then realize that it's simply unsatisfactory, you might as well just do it from the beginning."
