December 7th

"So y/n, draco have you made progress with my task?" My father asked at his meeting

"Yes father, we've almost finished the cabinet and have been working on Dumbledore" I spoke instead of Draco

"Excellent" he said

"Now that that's out of the way I would like to discuss a mission I would like to do" he started

"It has been brought to my attention that Harry Potter is staying at his friends house, I would like you to see to it that he may no longer stay there" my father laughed psychotically

"I would like to assign, bellatrix, fernir, Antonin, Alecto and my daughter to this task" he said

Why me?

"On December 14th you shall go to this house and destroy it" he instructed

The meeting ended and the other death eaters left my father included.

I was glad he left and didn't stay to 'see' me.

"Why don't we do something to light the mood?" Narcissa suggested

"Like what?" Draco asked

"This" narcissa said holding up a box labeled' Christmas decorations'

We agreed and began opening boxes of decorations.

Draco opened the tree.

Yes they had a fake one but it was still elegant.

I helped Narcissa hand silver tinsel on the chandeliers whilst Draco assembled the tree.

Once he was done we helped decorate it with green, white, silver and grey ornaments.

Draco stuck the glittery star on the top.

"It feels different without Lucius here" narcissa admitted

"I'm sure he'd want you to celebrate even if he wasn't there" I said

"I know it's just hard sometimes, being alone in this house with you two at school, all I have is the elves" she said

"It will get better, besides you have us here now" I said and she pulled me in for a hug.

Narcissa was like the parents I never had.

We Finished decorating at 11pm

"Merlin's beard it's late! I better get to bed!" Narcissa exclaimed

"You two don't stay up too late!" She said as she walked up the stairs

I helped Draco fold the empty boxes up and put them away.

We walked past a window and I saw it was snowing

"Draco it's snowing!" I exclaimed

"First snow home" he said

"Cmon" he said taking me to the back door

"What are you doing?" I asked

He didn't answer he only wrapped me in one of his coats and called for 2 house elves.

The appeared immediately

"What may we do for you master Draco?" They asked

"I need you to hold lights for us please" he said and the two elves snapped their fingers and bright lamps appeared in their hands.

Draco opened the door and pulled me outside with him.

"What are we doing?" I asked

"Building frosty" he said picking up a ball of snow

Did he really just say what I think he did?

"You remember frosty? The snowman we built when we were 7?" He asked

"Yeah I remember frosty" I said

"Come on then help" he said

I joined in rolling big balls of snow and piling them together.

This was the first time Draco and I had been together since the break up and it not be about the task.

It was nice.

I finished rolling the head and Draco secured it on top of the body.

The elves brought us stones, a carrot and twigs.

We placed them onto the snowman and it became frosty again.

" He's perfect" I said

"Just like before" Draco agreed
