(Abby's point of view)
I was humming along to "Red (Taylor's Version)" when the doorbell rang three times in a row, me and Lucy's signal that the other was there.
"Coming!" I yelled, setting down my hairbrush.
"Hi, Barbie." Lucy smirked when I opened the door.
"We're going to do that all night, aren't we?" I smiled, hugging her.
"Of course we are." She answered.
We were going to see the live action Barbie movie together, just us. Phoebe said that she didn't own any pink clothing, and didn't particularly want to. She said that she would watch it when you could rent it on the TV, wearing all black clothing. Classic Phoebe.
Julien had plans that had been scheduled months ago, meetings and what not. She was kind of disappointed to be missing it, but I knew that she was happy that me and Lucy got to hangout.
I had chosen pink converse for shoes, given that I honestly didn't own much other pink. My long hair was pulled back in a braid. Lucy was also going to do my makeup.
Lucy was wearing a skirt and a pink sweater. She had strategically placed a bunch of gemstones on her eyelids, and also had on her pink "Love is love" hat. Don't worry, she still had on her classic red lipstick.
After Dorothea had finished going ballistic with Lucy's arrival, we moved to the bathroom for makeup. I sat on the counter, back to the mirror, eyes closed, so Lucy could work her magic. We talked about what we usually talked about; anything and everything. She told me about all the fan projects that had been established on tour, and all the funny backstage stories. I told her about what I did when they were gone; babysit Ezra a couple times, record numerous videos, learn a shit ton of songs. All my things sounded kind of lame compared to hers, so I let her do a lot of the talking. Anyways, she had to keep shushing me when I talked; it would mess up her work.
"Oh my god." I said when I saw my makeup. She had placed different shades of pink gems on my eyes, starting at the inner corner of my eye, going almost over my eyelid, right below my eyebrow, all the way to the outer corner of my eye. She had put white eyeliner on my waterline, making the other colors pop.
"You like it?" Lucy asked.
"It's amazing!" I exclaimed.
"We look hot." She stated.
She pulled out her phone to take a picture, so I threw my arms around her, causing us both to laugh and resulting in a very cute photo. She told me that she would post it in one of her spontaneous Instagram dumps, and I reminded her to tag me, then we got out our stuff together and left.

By the end of the movie I had tears streaming down my face. I would've been sobbing if it wasn't for the ending.
Me and Lucy had cuddled up, her arm around me, my head on her shoulder. We stayed like that until everyone had left the theater. Keeping our identities hidden was crucial. The second the lights turned on Lucy put on her hat and kept her head down. She sort of shielded my face with her hand. We could have made a run for it the second the credits rolled, but she could sense that I needed a moment.
"We should get out before the staff come to clean," Lucy said softly, shortly after the last person was gone.
"Yeah," I sniffled. I stood and almost immediately felt that weird lightheaded feeling that came quite a lot now. I ignored it, along with my heart rate, like always.
"Here," Lucy dabbed at my cheeks with a tissue, then took my sunglasses from the neck of my shirt and slid them on my face. "There you go. Nobody will be able to tell you were crying. Ready to leave?"
