Vampire Hunters ( Chapter Ten)

Here is the new chapter, comment and vote. This chapter talks about the history of hunters and vampires, some of it. Also the words of the tatoo won't appear of wattpad, so next to the chapter I uploaded I picture which is the chinese letters for the symbol of a hunter. =)

Chapter Ten

"I have come to prepare you two." The both of us watched the man with confusion. 

Caleb shattered the silence by asking, “Who are you?"

"My name is Hunter X."

Caleb releases his grip from my shoulder and I looked up at Hunter X.

"Hunter X?" My voice came out almost as a low whisper.

"You two are awakening and I must train you before they make their move."

Caleb slammed his hand on the wall. "Who are you? I was just almost killed by a monster in the locker room. What in the world is going on?"

Hunter X stood still just looking at us with a smirk on his face. "You two are just exactly as your parents."

Our parents... Could Caleb and I be brothers, Acaeus had mentioned something about my real brother. Caleb looks similar to me in many ways, people even see us as being brothers.

"Boys, I know there's millions of questions you might yearn to ask me, but it’s better to ask them back at my crib."

It was my turn to speak and to seek the answers for one question before following this man anywhere. "How can Caleb and I trust you when moments ago vampires tried to kill us?

"Those monsters were vampires?" Caleb looked at me and then at Hunter X.

"Yes, those were vampires our worst enemies for centuries."

If the man had all the answers to the questions running in my mind, I was willing to follow my instincts and trust him. "We will go, but you will answer all of our questions."

We followed Hunter X to the school parking lot. Caleb and I got in his car following Hunter X in a small wasted car looking ages old.

Caleb and I did not say a single word on our way to Hunter X's home. The silence annoyed me, but I spoke not a single word for I couldn't add fuel to Caleb’s anger. His hand held a vigorous grip on the steering wheel, trying to keep himself under control.

Hunter X’s house was further than I thought, across town at the end of a forested road. A small wooden cabin stood in the middle of the forest. Caleb parked his car behind Hunter X's small one.

"Calvin do you think this is the best choice, for all we know he can be a psycho lunatic?"

"Caleb we must hear what he has to say, we were almost killed."

"By what? Vampires!" I knew the truth sounded unbelievable, but no other specific answer was splayed out before me.

"I have not told you but my attacker killed Mrs. Prize." Caleb's eyes showed fear and he did something he had never done before.

He hugged me fiercely and said, "Oh! Calvin I would not be able to survive without you."

His words flattered me, but not in the romantic way more in a protective way. Caleb let go of me and got himself out of the car. I followed suited behind him. Hunter X leaned outside his door with a mocking smirk on his face.
