"Can you believe it?" Michael says, holding me close to his chest.
"No." I say, getting closer to him. "They said we wouldn't last and look at us. Married, living in a beautiful house, and have incredible jobs." I say, kissing his neck.
"I know. I've got a beautiful girl beside me." He says.
"People thought I was crazy for taking you back." I say.
"Fuck those people. Here we are, living life to the fullest. I'm already ready for kids!" Michael says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, aren't you?" He asks. I pull my head off of his chest.
"Well, I want kids, but not right now. We just got married." I say.
"So, does it really matter? People have children first then get married!" Michael says, rising his voice a little.
"Michael, you're starting to yell." I say.
"Do I give a fuck?!" He yells.
"This is why people said that we wouldn't last. ALL WE DO IT FIGHT!" I yell back at him.
"WE WOULDN'T BE FIGHTING IF YOU WOULD JUST AGREE WITH ME FOR ONCE!" He yells.
"GOD MICHAEL! I'M JUST NOT READY FOR KIDS CAN YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT?!" I yell back.
"YOU KNOW WHAT!?! I SHOULD HAVE WENT FOR HANNAH INSTEAD OF YOU! SHE WOULD DO EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!" He yells, walking towards the door.
"FINE THEN! GO TO HER MICHAEL!" I yell.
"FINE! BYE BITCH!" He says, slamming the door.
I jerk up quickly. I look around and remember that all that was a dream.
"Thank god." I say, rubbing my forehead.
"Thank god for what?" I hear. I look over and see Michael getting up for the floor.
"Are we married?" I ask, looking down at my hand to see if I can find a ring.
"Not that I know of? What's going on?" He asks.
"I just had a crazy dream." I say.
"Tell me about it." Michael says, rubbing his eyes.
"No, you don't want to hear about it." I say, shaking my head.
"All I know, is that we were apparently married." He says, smiling.
"Yeah and that's all you need to know." I say, getting up.
"Where are you going?" He says, starting to get up as well.
"Don't get up, I need to use the bathroom." I say, holding my hand out to stop him.
"You're going to come back right?" He asked.
"Yes." I say, heading towards the bathroom.
"Promise?" He yelled from the living room.
"Promise!" I yell back. I close the bathroom and take a look at myself in the mirror. "What the hell am I going to do?" I ask myself. I turn the water on and splash my face. I know Michael has hurt me, he hurt me deep, but I still love him. Don't I?
"Hey, are you alright?" Luke's voice comes from the other side of the door.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say, splashing my face once more and wiping the water off. I open the door and walk back into the living room.
