AMANDA'S P.O.V.

The rest of the day went by quickly. We all didn't do much. Just sat around and talked about fucked up things in our lives and how they've changed. Told some stories about our past. Michael told some that I really wish he never did.

"Mandy, remember that one time we were playing hide and seek and you feel in that mud hole." Michael says.

"Yes, I've tried to push that out of my memory and thanks for putting it back in." I say, shaking my head.

"It was the most hilarious thing ever!" Michael says, his voice raising in volume as he tells the story. "I found her behind a building and I started chasing her and she fell in the mud hole."

"Michael." I groan. "Stop."

"I'm sorry, but it was the most funnest thing at the time." He says.

"I wish I was there." Kaitlyn says, laughing.

"No you don't." I say. I look at my phone to check the time. "Damn." I say.

"What is it?" Michael asks.

"It's almost midnight. I have work tomorrow." I say, getting up.

"Do you need me to take you home?" Michael asks, standing up as well.

"No, I got my car fixed." I say.

"Oh." He says, sitting back down.

"You can walk me out to my car." I smile.

"Alright." He says, blush rushing to his cheeks.

"I hope you had a great birthday." Lauren says, hugging me.

" I did. Thanks." I say.

"Bye Amanda!" Everyone yells.

"Bye guys!" I say, walking out the door. Michael right behind me. We walk in silence, until we reach my car.

"So." Michael says, his hands in his pocket.

"So." I say.

"Do you still live with your aunt?" Michael asks.

"Nope." I say.

"What?" He asks, surprised.

"Yeah. I took on a extra job. Babysitting, but I made enough and I'm renting an apartment in town." I say, smiling.

"Mandy Candy is now a big girl." Michael says, laughing.

"You know it." I say, laughing as well. "Well, I should really get going." I say, opening the door and getting inside the car. I start the car and roll the window down, so I can close the door.

"Alright. I'll stop by tomorrow." Michael says.

"Alright. See you tomorrow, Michael." I say, putting the car in reverse and backing out. Before I get to the road I hear Michael yelling.

"AMANDA! WAIT!" I look up and see Michael running towards the car. I put the car in park and jump out.

"What's wrong, Michael?" I say, panic in my voice.

"I need to do something before you leave." He says, coming closer to me.

"What is-" I start, but I'm cut off with Michael's lips crashing into mine. I can't help, but get lost in the kiss. I wrap my arms around Michael's neck. Soon, the warmth from where Michael's lips were was gone and replaced with cold air.

"I wanted to do that." He says, leaning his head onto me.

"Honestly, I've been waiting all day for you to do that." I say, kissing his lips again. I soon pull away and walk back. "I have to go."
