*MICHAEL'S P.O.V*
I'm awoken by chirping and a bright light shining down on my. I open my eyes, but the light was too bright for me to see. I must've fallen asleep on the water tower last night. I lean up and look out to the open. Fields upon fields in front of me. I let my legs hang over the edge and look out. I must've zoned out, since I didn't hear someone come up.
"I knew you would be here." Amanda says.
"Of course you would." I say.
"i'm going to shake your tone off, you're always cranky when you wake up." She says. "Here, I got you some coffee." She says, holding a cup out to me. I take it.
"Thanks." I say.
"Welcome." She says. We sit in silence for awhile until I decide to break it.
"How did you know I would be up here right now?" I ask.
"Luke called me. Said you never returned home last night. Hannah was a and I quote Luke "Psychotic bitch'" She laughs.
"He always calls her that." I laugh with her. "I have to admit, she can be a tad bit crazy." I say, taking a sip of coffee.
"Yeah, did you invite her yesterday?" She asked me.
"No. I asked Luke if he did and he said he didn't. I don't even know how she knew we were there." I say.
"She has secret service on your ass Mike. Better watch out." She says, trying not to laugh.
"She probably has cameras in my shower and watches me shower." I say.
"Now that's just freaky. If she did, I'd tell you to dump her, for your well being cause she's crazy." She says, laughing. The sound of her laugh is like music in my ears. I've always loved her laugh.
"I would right on the spot." I say, agreeing with her.
"I'm sorry about last night." Amanda says.
"I'm sorry too." I say.
"For what? I'm the one that judged your girlfriend." She says.
"Yeah, but I forgot that the only memory of her to you was what she did to you in middle school and I should've been considerate of that. I know how upset you were over that. To be honest, she's still like that." I tell her.
"What do you mean?"
"She still makes fun of people. Also, she's possessive. Like bad." I tell her, taking another sip of coffee.
"Oh." She says, looking down. "Can I have a quick drink? I feel like there is something in my throat."
"Yeah sure, be careful tho, she may be watching." I tell her and hand her the coffee.
"Oh don't worry, I'll get some of my Hollywood buddies to work something out. Besides, I can still kick ass." She says, taking a sip and showing off her guns.
"I can tell. You could pull a truck with those babies." I say, reaching up and squeezing them. She hands me the cup back.
We sit there and look out at the city. I look over at Amanda and get lost in her beauty. Everything about her is beautiful. Her hair, her eyes, her voice, her laugh, her face. She's always been beautiful. I always had a crush on her in middle school. She kept me grounded, she kept me from trouble. After she left, It all went downhill. I didn't have her to help me or keep me from trouble.
"Amanda, I need to tell you something." I say.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I want to do something." I tell her.
