Esther's a main character, she probably wouldn't be as popular as Rocky (because he's well....Rocky) but I think people would actually like her since she's actually pretty chill in the story tbh. I do think some people wouldn't like her design due to the details and stuff, kinda like a Queen Bee from Helluva Boss situation if ya know what I'm saying?

📝: How would your story in canon go? How would you influence the events of the original story?

Ehhhhhhh agajaklsal- the story stays pretty much the same except a few side plot lines would be changed obviously and there's a few small details that are added

Like in one instance was when Rocky realized Esther had good ol' ✨ fire trauma ✨ Rocky got scared and actually tried suppressing his more eccentric, manic side for a while, at least around her. Like whenever he was being his whacky crazy self around Freckle or something and then someone's  "OH LOOK, eStHeR's HeRe-" he'd immediately switch if that makes sense

Either Esther's introversion so people could have the classic 'extrovert x introvert dynamic' with Rocky

Or Esther's secret sassy side and also her secret rizz because she flirted with Rocky once and on accident too-

I feel like people would dislike it since Rocky's much more physically affectionate than Esther and that would somehow mean oHHH Esther doesn't even CARE ABOUT HIMMMMM Rocky's always the one who hugs HERRRRR plus a lot of people ship Hellerby instead

Rocky's definitely more portrayed more as his whacky goofy self and he's most likely be the one to initiate affection and stuff ig idk

A misconception would probably be that Esther is ALWAYS this flustered mess whenever Rocky flirts and can't ever flirt back. Unless Rocky's being pretty forward Esther would probably just be confused rather than extremely flustered since her ace spectrum AAA doesn't know how to process flirting properly, but she can definitely flirt back if she felt like it
