BEYOND THE LOVE

CHAPTER 3:

Right now, we're sitting in a Hi-Dive restaurant. This restaurant is different from others because it extends towards a river, and the atmosphere here is really cool. As Kyoto and I were sitting there, we noticed the person from the Zae organization sitting at two tables next to us. We already had a backup plan, so there were some undercover police officers hiding in the restaurant, and we had already hacked the security cameras. While we were having a casual conversation, we noticed a man dressed in all black. He had a strong body, mask, sunglasses, and white sneakers. He was intensely looking at us and heading towards the Zae members, but they weren't saying anything. Instead, both were texting on the phones.

"I think they are having conversations through the phone."

I immediately called Juan and asked him to hack the Zae member's phone , but he was surprised to find out that it was already being hacked. He tried his wits to gain access to it, but it proved difficult.
Out of nowhere, the man wearing black swiftly pulled out a gun and aimed it at the person he was talking to. Everyone became scared and motionless. All of a sudden, we leaped up from our chairs, and Kyoto also drew a gun and pointed it at the man. Then, unexpectedly, he grabbed another gun and aimed it back at Kyoto.

It was at that moment I shouted, "Kyoto, put the guns down! We must keep him alive."

While I was yelling, I heard a loud gunshot. I saw a person from the Zae group lying on the ground, bleeding.He threw a gun at Kyoto's head and then quickly ran away to where we were sitting. I was surprised when he unexpectedly jumped into the river from there.

I tried to catch him by chasing after him, and even managed to grab his hand, but I couldn't hold on. I wasn't really prepared for him to jump off from that spot.

I was really angry, so I stomped on the floor and quickly turned towards the exit door. Kyoto was waiting there on a bike, and I noticed he had a scratch on his head. I got on the bike behind him. I never expected him to jump like that. Well, either he is dead by now or he's a very proficient swimmer.

But how did he even understand us? Why was his phone already hacked? Do they know about us? Many questions are running through my mind as I didn't realize we reached our destination.

I opened the door angrily and Juan called me softly, but I didn't feel like talking to him, so I just shouted, "WHAT?" Nobody said anything after that.

Kyoto arrived, and Suha asked, "What happened?"

Kyoto replied, "He escaped from there."

Ji Woon asked, "What did you say? How could he escape from there?"

Kyoto replied, "Well, he jumped out of the window."

Juan sarcastically asked, "Where... into the river?"

Kyoto replied, "Yes." It was clear that nobody expected that

. Everyone was shocked and couldn't believe it. I felt a chill down my spine as I realized what had happened. We were all speechless.

"It must have been a daring escape," Juan said, his tone of disbelief obvious in his voice. I said we need to learn more about the eviscerators, otherwise we can't do anything.

Juan said, "Nara, the person you met was eliminator, and he killed him because he refused to do something they asked."

"How did you find out?" "I managed to briefly access his phone while hacking.......And they plan to kill Zae Rim."

"What?... You mean Zae Rim, the heir of the Zae Group chairman?" Ji Woon asked.

"This is serious," Ji Woon exclaimed.

"We must act immediately!" "What the hell should we do now? We don't even know when they are going to kill him"

"In any case, I think we should mention this to the chief and try to contact Zae Rim as well." - Juan said in serious tone.

"Suha and I will meet Zae Rim tomorrow itself. Juan, please be aware of your surroundings. Kyoto, be outside the building. Ji Woon, arrange an appointment with me quickly so you can be inside the building. Maybe we'll meet someone tomorrow." I said

Suha asked, "Wh-"

"Wait... maybe everyone should know the situation and join the conference call at that time...... okay?"

Everyone agreed by nodding.

Right now , we are at the Zae group to meet zaerim.When we met him, we informed him about the eviscerators who target him. I didn't understand why they targeted him since he is an excellent person. Are these eviscerators sadistic individuals? Well, we need to protect him. He agreed to follow our plan, but when the three of us left the area, it seemed suspicious. Due to the glass facade, I noticed the same person I saw yesterday at the restaurant outside the building. I told Kyoto to go to zae rim and Ji Woon to be outside as a replacement for Kyoto, while I ran outside to find that person.

I followed him, but he quickly noticed me and walked faster. He proceeded to the parking lot, and his face was unclear because he was wearing a mask. The parking lot was divided into an upper and lower basement. I was very sure he was in this basement, but I couldn't see him for a moment. Suddenly, I spotted his figure and moved towards him. Just then, I noticed a car approaching slowly at first, but then it sped up, and I realized it would hit me. However, someone grabbed me and pulled me aside. It turned out to be the person with a moon tattoo on their right wrist, whom I knew as the eliminator. I was puzzled because we were trying to kill them, yet he saved me.

Out of curiosity, I asked him, "Why did you save me?"

"Why... do you need a reason to live?" he responded.

His question was pretty valid for my life, but his voice was known by me.

When he slowly lowered his sunglasses and winked at me, I understood who it was.
