Suddenly, Juan approached me, holding a phone. "Chief wants to talk to you," he said, his usual calm demeanor showing a hint of urgency.

I took the phone, feeling a rush of anxiety. "cheif..?"

The Chief's voice came through, steady and reassuring. "Nara, be safe until everything cools down."

"Will everything be okay?" I asked, my voice wavering slightly.

"You are in safe hands," he replied.

"Why, Chief? Why do you have faith in—" I started, but he cut me off.

"I know everything, Nara. And don't contact me unless I do."

I swallowed hard, trying to steady my nerves. "I won't... but call me if you need anything."

"I will," he assured me. "But Nara, don't let anyone out... especially your team, okay?"

"Yes, sir," I responded, feeling the weight of his words.

"Then for now... bye," he said, his tone final.

"Bye," I whispered, handing the phone back to Juan, who gave me a reassuring nod.

As I turned back to the group, they were all watching me, their faces a mix of concern and curiosity. Ji Woon stepped forward, his hand resting on my shoulder. "Everything alright?"

I nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah, just some instructions from the Chief. We need to stay put for now."

Suha clapped her hands together. "Well, then, let's make the most of it! "

Juan, sensing the lingering tension, clapped his hands together and broke into a smile. "As we're all here, let's enjoy ourselves, Nara. It's been years since we've done anything fun together. So, let's make the most of it."

Ji Woon, always ready to lighten the mood, grinned. "So, I guess I can watch and do whatever I need, right?" His playful tone was met with Suha's sarcastic eye roll.

"Sure, go ahead," Suha said, her voice dripping with irony.

Ju Yan, stepped forward. "But for today, I think you should all get some rest. It's time to sleep."

Ji Woon pouted, a teasing glint in his eyes. "You're acting like Nara, all bossy."

"They just got here. Why are you being so strict?" Kiah added, her tone slightly accusatory.

Their chatter filled the room, a mix of teasing and genuine concern. As I watched them, my heart ached a little. Seeing everyone together, my brother, Rein, and the rest of the team felt like a dream. The fear of losing them again gnawed at me. I didn't want my past to repeat itself, and the thought of something going wrong was overwhelming.

Quietly, I slipped out of the room, the sound of their voices fading behind me. The night air was cool against my skin, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore offered a temporary escape. The stars above seemed to whisper of possibilities, but I couldn't shake the unease in my heart.

Walking along the deserted beach, I felt the weight of the past and the uncertainty of the future pressing down on me. The moonlight cast a silvery glow on the water, and for a moment, I let myself get lost in its beauty.
