As I was in  meeting with Mitchell and the team , my phone buzzed with an incoming call, displaying the chief's name on the screen. Sensing , I excused myself and answered the call. The chief's voice was grave as he conveyed the need for an off-the-record meeting.

"I need to see you urgently. It's not official. I'll send you the location. Come quickly," he said.

Without hesitation, I informed Mitchell of the situation. His stern gaze met mine, and he asserted, "You're not going anywhere."

I met his intensity with resolve. "This is not a request, Mitchell. I don't need your permission." The tension in the room escalated.

As I swiftly left the meeting room, Suha followed closely, a sense of urgency in her eyes. Mitchell, clearly displeased, demanded, "Where do you think you're going, Nara?"

Ignoring his question, I continued walking, determined to answer the mysterious call from the chief. Suha and I exchanged a quick glance, understanding the gravity of the situation.

As we stepped out of the building, I received the location from the chief. It was a discreet spot away from the prying eyes of the organization. We started walking towards the designated spot.

Upon reaching the designated location, I found the chief waiting in a secluded area. His expression was grave as he motioned for us to approach. "Nara, Suha, thank you for coming. We don't have much time."

I cut to the chase, "Chief, what's going on? Why the secrecy?"

He sighed, "The internal investigation has taken an unexpected turn. There are forces within the organization manipulating the outcome, and I couldn't risk discussing this in the office."

Suha's eyes widened with disbelief, "Are you saying someone is sabotaging the investigation from within?"

The chief nodded, "Exactly. I need your help, Nara. You're one of the few I trust at this point."

I felt a surge of responsibility, "What do you need me to do?"

The chief handed me a secure device, "Get this to a trusted contact outside the organization. We can't let this information be suppressed."

As I held the secure device in my hands, the weight of the responsibility pressed on me. Looking at the chief, I asked with determination, "Do you believe I can pull this off?"

The chief and Suha exchanged surprised glances, and the chief responded, "Nara, this is not the doubt I expected from you. You've always been capable, and I wouldn't have called you if I didn't trust your abilities."

Suha chimed in, "Nara, we know you can do this. We're in this together."

With a newfound resolve, I nodded. "If anything goes wrong, it's not just me who will suffer. Ji Woon, Kyoto, Juan, Suha, Rein, Ju Yan, and even the you– we're all in this together."

The chief encouraged me with confidence, "Take charge of the task; I've got your back."

As we concluded our conversation, Suha and I bid farewell to the chief and started walking away. The path ahead was uncertain, but the determination to protect mine ones fueled our steps.

Suha's concern was evident as she held my hand and stopped our brisk walk. Her gaze bore into mine, searching for answers. "Nara, what's going on with you? You haven't been yourself lately," she remarked, a mix of worry and curiosity in her eyes.

I took a deep breath, grateful for her perceptiveness. "Suha, it's just been a lot to handle. The changes in the team, Mitchell's leadership, and now this thing in the investigation. It's overwhelming."

She squeezed my hand reassuringly, "You don't have to carry it all alone, Nara. We're a team, remember? Whatever happens, we face it together."

I nodded, appreciating her support, and smiled .
