Next day.....
At the same time, the same place ,
I stepped in to find him alongside the Chief. While the Chief sported a relaxed demeanor but he was the picture of formality. His shoes gleamed, and his eyes sparkled, contrasting his crisp white shirt and black trousers, though oddly, two buttons were undone. As I approached, our eyes locked, his gaze intense, challenging me to match its strength.

The chief sat on a sofa, with others opposite and beside him. Ji Woon and I sat across from the chief, while Suha and Juan occupied another sofa.

After parking the car, Kyoto joined us. Oddly, everything seemed to be in slow motion.

"Nara... and everyone... meet Rein... Kim Rein," announced the chief.

Rein responded with a slight smirk, "I believe no introductions are necessary on my part." He adjusted his shirt collar as he spoke.

Ji Woon whispered to me, "He's incredibly overconfident."

I smiled in agreement, replying, "Absolutely."

Juan, with a stern expression, addressed Rein, "So, you're familiar with us, aren't you, Rein?"

Relaxed, Rein crossed one leg over the other.

He acknowledged Juan, "Hye Juan, the renowned hacker " He then glanced at Suha, adding, "And the top marksman, Ae Suha."

Glancing at me and Ji Woon he said-" You guys had sparred together countless times, and your strengths were complementary.Ha  Ji Woon was unmatched in close combat, his swift moves and sharp reflexes often caught opponents off guard. On the other hand, Nara skills lay in strategic fighting. From a distance, she could anticipate an opponent's moves"

Rein looked Kyoto up and down, evaluating. " Hwan Kyoto, The trap specialist? "

Kyoto merely nodded, his expression unreadable.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed outside. We all turned to see a group of masked men approaching the building. It was clear they weren't here for friendly banter.

Ji Woon and I moved into position, preparing for a fight. Kyoto swiftly reached into his bag, pulling out an array of devices, ready to set his traps.

Rein stood up, adjusting his collar once more. "Seems we have uninvited guests. Shall we give them a proper introduction?"

The atmosphere in the nectar club thickened with tension as the masked men came into full view. They bore dark tattoos, each carrying the emblem of a rising phoenix.

Rein, despite the chaos erupting around him, maintained his cool demeanor.
"Ah, the Phoenix Syndicate. I was wondering when they'd show their faces," he remarked.

Juan quickly fired up his laptop, his fingers dancing over the keyboard. "I'll block their communications," he muttered, eyes focused on the screen.

Suha upholstered her weapon, checking its load. "Remember, aim for the legs. We need answers," she cautioned.

Kyoto's nimble fingers quickly set her devices along the floor and doorways. Within moments, shimmering barriers of light appeared, ready to ensnare anyone who dared cross.

Ji Woon cracked his knuckles, preparing for close combat, while I began to strategically assess the layout of the room, identifying choke points and avenues of escape.

Rein, however, remained unfazed, his smirk still playing on his lips. "Oh, do take care of them, won't you?" he said, almost teasingly.

As the first of the intruders charged in, they were instantly caught by Kyoto's barriers, their movements restricted. Ji Woon capitalized on the moment, disarming and incapacitating them with a flurry of precise moves. The dance between Ji Woon's martial prowess and my strategic moves created a harmonious rhythm of offense and defense.

Suha's bullets pierced the air, targeting the legs of those who tried to break from the fringes, ensuring none escaped without questioning.

However, one of the masked men managed to bypass our defenses, lunging towards Rein. But to our surprise, with a swift move, Rein had the assailant pinned down, revealing his own combat expertise. "Did you really think I'd be helpless?" he taunted.

Within minutes, the Phoenix Syndicate members lay immobilized and disarmed. The club's atmosphere shifted from intense action back to a calm.

Juan disconnected from his laptop. "Their communications are jammed. They're isolated."

Kyoto began collecting his devices, the shimmering barriers fading away. "Good teamwork," he acknowledged.

Rein chuckled, "Impressive display. But remember, they're just the foot soldiers. The real puppet master remains hidden."

Ji Woon, catching his breath, responded, "Then we'll find him, and we'll take him down."

I nodded, looking around the room. "We'll need answers from these intruders. Let's get to it."

I scanned the room and said, "We need to extract information from these , but we can't neglect monitoring the eviscerators."

Facing the chief, I added, "I believe another meeting with Rein is necessary."
