Mutt pocketed the phone and turned to walk up to his room, squaring his shoulders back and standing tall. He was gonna stash the phone and then go back down for pizza. Then they were gonna check it later when everyone else had gone to bed.
This universe's Sans would certainly not agree with their methods, but Mutt had learned to trust his brother, why trust anyone else when you can verify.
As he walked into the house he bumped straight into a tall spindly chest.
"Sorry, I was just checking that she got her phone back." Freak apologized quietly, Mutt sneered up at the taller Skeleton, though it made his magic itch and recoil to do so. It was just instinct to want to cower away from a monster with xp as high as Freak's. Mutt knew better though; he kept his face stoney as he spoke.
"Course she did. My bro said he'd get it back to her didn't he." He replied gruffly, pushing his way around the taller skeleton and head up the stairs, slamming his door behind him for effect and trying not to flinch at the sound.
He put his back to the door and just breathed for a moment, trying not to shake against the door.
He hated it here. At least in his underground he could be safe at home, but here in this world "home" wasn't even safe. So they would take whatever steps they needed to, to...
Shit! Mutt thought fumbling through his pockets for the phone, he had just had-
Fucking Freak! He realized a bolt of horror straightening his spine as he threw his bedroom door open to go and get it before your guard dogs realized what Mutt and Razz had.
"Shoot, not again." Red heard Freak mumble as he came around the corner.
"What now?" He asked gruffly, better to be aggressive or relaxed with someone as strong as Freak, show him you weren't scared of his power.
"I think I grabbed Mutt's phone." Freak said softly, turning the device, only for it to flash on to your colorful home screen. "I- wait this isn't...is it?" He trailed off thoughtfully.
"Haha those sneaky fucks, this is great." Red mused reaching for the device, just as Mutt ran down the stairs. "Getting into trouble Mutt?" Red teased.
"That's none of your business!" He snapped trying to grab the phone, but it was already in Red's hand, and he was much better at dodging than the lanky skeleton was at hitting.
"I'm making it my business, since my brother is spending time with her in the kitchen and you won't tell anyone what she did until the bet's over." Red replied, taking a step back.
"Fine! But keep it the fuck down do you want the whole fucking house to find out." Mutt replied angrily.
"Find out what?" Sinnamon asked as he reclined against the door to the dining room next to Saffron pressed close together in the narrow doorway making Mutt groan. His brother gave him one fucking job and he coildnt even do that.
"Mutt got us access to Doll's home security system, figured after dinner they were planning on sneaking a peak."
"Absolutely not." Saffron growled. "Of all the blatant violations of someone's privacy, Why am I not surprised a degenerate pervert like you would be okay watching someone without their knowledge."
"Don't act like your underground wouldn't have done it!" Red snapped back.
"Consensually." Saffron bit back, rolling the word over his tongue in a long purr.
"...I mean...sure it's fucked up, but...you were just talkin about how little ya trusted the human." Sinnamon chimed in, leaning further into Saffron.
"I said no. As captain of the dark seducers I hold myself to a higher standard." Saffron replied.
