It took a few weeks for you to arrange a meeting with Demitri (He said that you could stop addressing him so formally if you weren't working anymore.) because of his work and his volunteer hours with the church he had to keep his interests secret because he could still be fired and excommunicated from his church.

Which was stupid, it wasn't like he was hurting anyone...well, not without asking first and everyone involved was a consenting adult anyway.

You worked out a day though, on the condition that you personally bring them to Demitri. You were okay with that, but after Sin had started talking to you again he practically begged that you dressed up a little.

"Like you did when you were working." he had said.

That had been a fun conversation. He avoided you for days, you weren't going to rush him because Saffron implied that he was probably embarrassed by his outburst, so you were waiting for him to approach you. He eventually did last Friday, well after midnight at your home.

You woke up on your couch to knocking at your front door and for one terrifying second you waited for the door to start splintering, before you heard two familiar (though slurred) voices.

"There, ya knocked, she's asleep. Let's go." Red's muffled voice calmed you down instantly. Sin's voice said something back, but it was too quiet for you to make out the exact words.

You threw your blankets back and sleepily shuffled towards the front door. Opening it the first thing you noticed was the smell of alcohol so strongly it turned your stomach for a second. Then the second was the skeleton that barreled into your chest, wrapping his arms tightly around you, and instantly wetting your shoulder.

"Uhhh...what's going on?" You asked, directing your question to Red because Sin was sniffling against your shoulder.

"I'm so fucked, I didn't think you could hear the door from upstairs." He said, looking guilty.

"Well...I wasn't actually asleep upstairs, but I mean what are you guys doing here smelling like you swam from the bar?" You clarified, reaching up to pat Sin's back.

Red sneered and gestured towards Sin, "Couldn't fucking convince him it was a bad idea."

"M' sorry." Sin slurred against your shoulder.

"Okay." You signed, nodding for Red to follow you inside as you practically drug the other skeleton in with you. "It's okay, Sinnamon. Do you want to talk about it?"

"I want to apologize." He said as you sat him down on the couch, pushing the blankets down to one end.

"For what sweet heart?" You encouraged gently.

"For being such a prick...I just-I always do this. I don't think things through, I don't have any impulse control, I just blow up and...like you shared something so personal with us and I made it about how I felt about it, then I ran away instead of talking about it like an adult and I'm so sorry." He rushed as his voice cracked. "I never fucking learn."

"...okay. That's a lot to unpack, so maybe we should sober up and talk about this in the morning." You encouraged, standing up.

"I...fuck I never should have come here, I'm so sorry." He replied, moving to stand with you, but you gently pressed him back down onto the couch.

"Relax Sin. I'm not kicking you out, you smell like a bar. I'd be too worried that you just passed out in a gutter somewhere to sleep." You explained, tossing your blanket at him. "You aren't off the hook though, we're talking about boundaries in the morning over breakfast."

You left him there while you walked into the kitchen, Red was sitting there sheepishly looking down at his hands. You ignored him to get a glass of water and bring it back to the living room. Sin was already asleep when you got back there, so you set the glass down on the coffee table and went to grab one for Red.
