Chapter 5 - Lo'ak

Lo'ak found himself sitting in the back of a rather nice truck with Rotxo beside him. Neteyam was in the passenger seat with the Ao'nung boy beside him.

Lo'ak was still pissed at the boy for landing on his older brother and giving him a concussion. It had seemed Luke maybe he had done it on purpose.

Neteyam had told Lo'ak to be nice but he didn't want to be nice to someone who had injured his brother.

But yet he was in this truck listening to the engine and watching the ocean as they drove by.
"It's really pretty here"

The words had come from his mouth before he could stop them. Luckily it only seemed the boy beside him had heard.
"Yeah it is! We can take you all to the beach as we live quite close to it!" The boy quickly pointed at a building.

"That's the school by the way." Lo'ak looked and saw a couple of buildings placed around the place with a bug tree in the middle of them all.
"It's not what I was expecting"

"Really? Huh what were you expecting?"
Lo'ak didn't know how to answer that question as he didn't know what he was expecting from the school.

"I'm not sure.."
Rotxo looked at him with a strange look but just shrugged it off. The boy driving spoke up.
"Here we are. Your brand new home"

Lo'ak looked back out the window to see that they had pulled up infront of a smallish house which seemed like a kind of cottage. Great. Kiri will love this.

"Wow it looks really nice actually" Neteyam was stepping out the door and Lo'ak quickly followed suit. The other cars pulled up and Lo'ak saw Kiri and Neytiri smiling at the sight of the house.

Lo'ak went over and opened the door for his sister while Neteyam did for their mother. He saw the odd looks that Ao'nung and Rotxo were giving them but ignored it.

Kiri stepped out of the car and rubbed her knuckles on his head before running  away quickly.
"Oi!" Kiri just laughed and stopped running.

Lo'ak rolled his eyes at his sister and waited for Tuk to come out of the car seeing Kai get out the other side.

Tuk finally got out of the car and Lo'ak closed the door following her to the rest of their family. Lo'ak knew that the moving truck would be here in an hour or so as the family had got a head start on them.

Kiri now went into the house and as she had won that game she got first pick of a room. Well apart from their parents who got the room they wanted first. Old people privileges as Tuk called it.

Lo'ak and the others soon got sent into the house to pick their rooms and Tuk and Lo'ak were in a race to get to the next best one first.

But to Lo'aks surprise when he got there he saw Neteyam standing there.
"WHAT?? How did you get here so fast!"
Neteyam just laughed.
"I went through the window baby brother." Lo'ak was shocked and annoyed at the same time.

Lo'ak knew that Tuk would have run off and gotten the next room so that meant he was left with the smallest room. He pushed open the door and walked in.

If he was being honest it wasn't that bad. Lo'ak could stand this he would just have to put a lot of things on the same shelf.

Someone called his name and Lo'ak looked up from his boxes of stuff hearing his name being called again.

Lo'ak jumped around the boxes and stubbed his toe on the door frame when he went to leave his room
"AH shit!"
"LANGUAGE!!"
Lo'ak rolled his eyes at his brother and hopped down the hall.

His family were all in the living room waiting for him.
"Lo'ak we are going over to the Metkyinas for dinner tonight put on something nice. You aswell Tuk."
Neytiri looked at them both and the two kids gasped dramatically.

"What about Kiri and Neteyam?" Tuk looked around at the two older ones mouth open wide.
"I think you mean what about Dad"
Jake turned to Lo'ak quickly.
"My clothes are very nice thank you very much son"

Everyone looked at Jake and just gave a 'mhmmm' and Neytiri laughed slightly.
"Ma' Jake I will get you an outfit ready not to worry"

Lo'ak left the room for his and immediately went looking for something he thought Tsireya might like.
