The Asian was about to reply but the British stopped him.

"Can you guys stop? Minho, she just arrived let her bloody live!" He sighed.

Why did I feel so comfortable with them? I shouldn't, I still have so many questions. And it still doesn't make sense.

"My name's Newt. Do you remember yours?" He gave me his hands to shake which I didn't take septic. 'Newt' didn't look like a name, even not for a British. I thought of giving mine, well the one I thought was mine but decided to go for it. It could only give me more Answers and in the worst case, I am just gonna end up punching someone's balls again.

"Ben," I said confident about it.

All the boys' mouths next to me almost fell to the ground. What was bad about being named Ben? Maybe it looked more like a Boy name, but it couldn't be worse than Newt.

"No, it's not." Newt chuckled. What did he find funny? He remarked I wasn't laughing and stood still. "Oh, you aren't joking." He realized.

"Why would I?" I said septic. Is there something bad about being named Ben?

Newt looked at the Asian with an interrogated look. They whisper something to each other and the Asian left.

"There is already someone named Ben here..." He explained.

"And what's bad about it?" I asked. Maybe it was just a coincidence, right?

"Nothing, but hey do you wanna meet the real Ben, maybe you will remember something," Newt asked gently. His way of speaking was reassuring enough.

"Fine, but why would I?" I interrogate as we walk out of the forest.

"Who don't try got nothing" He quoted.

"But what is this place, why don't you know anything about it." A black-skinned boy who was listening to their conversation came near to them. He looked older than the other, well at least older than Newt.

"We call it the Glade, and people here are called Gladers. We grow our food and build our own shelter. Whatever we need to box provide." He explained.

"The box?" I doubted about the information. How could a box give things?

As we went back to the green area of the 'Glade', he pointed to a hole in the middle.

"Most of our Greenie wake up there and we make them the tour, but you, you didn't wake up there."

I made a face that probably looked like a deformed chicken in incomprehension. "Greenie? And where did I wake up then? I can't just wake up in the middle of the grass and you never noticed."

"There.." He pointed to a space in the wall of rocks. I weirdly didn't notice it earlier, probably too scared to witness it.

"But that's not where I wake up."

"I mean, we found you in there but you wake up in the infirmary. Does that make sense?"

I nodded. "And what's out there?"

"That leads me to the rules." He announced. "First, never hurt another Glader. Secondly, do your job, you'll choose one eventually. Lastly, never go out there, it's not safe for you."

"I already broke two of them," I said biting my lips. If I wanted to make a good impression, that was messed up.

"Minho's gonna be okay, don't worry," Newt spoke again.

"Is Minho an insult or what?" I added.

"Minho's a name, he's the Keeper of the Runners" It really sounded like Mean Hoe, why would someone call his child like that? Still, what was a Runner?

"Runner?" The boys chuckled at my confusion.

"They are one of the 8 jobs here, there are Med-Jacks, Track-Hoes, Builders, Slicers, Cooks, Sloopers, Baggers and Runners." The older boy explained.

"What is supposed to be a Track-Hoe? Why is everything ending in Hoe?" I continued asking questions. They all acted like this was normal, but nothing was normal in this.

"You're gonna learn soon." I turned around as I heard voices coming for us.

"You're telling me the dead girl has the same name as me?" The boys said. It was probably the same Ben Newt talked about.

It was a tall and athletic boy. He had Blond hair and big ears. Mean Hoe was next to him and he sighed as he saw me.

"There she is..." Minho said.

'Ben' looked at me as if he wanted to remember something. He glanced at my face in different positions until his eyes meet mine. And then I remember. I remember him, us, everything. Ben wasn't my name. It was his, my brother's name...

"No way.." He whispered.

"I'm not Ben," I explained to the boy next to us. "I'm Evelyn."

Ben throw himself in my arm as he realized who I was. I hugged him back harder.

"Oh my god Evelyn, I remember you. How couldn't I know you were her." He said let me go.

I smiled at him happy to find who he was. I didn't even know I had a brother until I meet his eyes.

"And when it's me that looks at her eyes, I got punched." Mean Hoe added upset.

The black-skinned boy ignored Minho's words and continued on another subject.

"Can you explain to us?" He asked Ben and I.

"She's my sister, I remember her," Ben answered.

"I didn't know you had a sister." Minho realized.

"It's because I didn't know either. But now I do and I think we have a lot of things to catch up on." Ben press his hand on my shoulder and started to get us away.

"Ben! I still need to answer her questions!" Newt spouted out at us.

"I can answer them!" He replied as we stepped to an edifice in altitude.

"Maybe we should stay with them?" I requested even if I feel better with him than with the other.

"Nah I've got a better plan. Hope you're not afraid of heights." Ben started to ascend the building that looked a lot like a tower. I didn't figure out if I could trust its stability, but I eventually climb thinking of the question I wanted to ask my brother.
