(Totally how I see Gia! Pic not mine)
Third-person POV:
Erebus had been pissed off since he heard Gianna was going home for break. He thought maybe they could spend the two weeks together doing something. Or doing nothing at all. He really didn't care, as long as he was with her.
At this point, he was losing his battle of trying to keep his feelings for Gia platonic. He just hoped neither of them would regret it. That is if she were to ever see him that way.
He hoped she would.
To top off Gia leaving she also had another ride arranged. She never said who it was but he couldn't help but think it was some guy.
Erebus figured Gianna would have mentioned if her mom were coming, and he also knew Gianna would share if she made a girlfriend.

Erebus had visited that town once when he was looking for a merchant that sold an artifact he was looking for a while back.
When he returned there everything looked the same besides the little girl in his arms who lived there. She's changed everything about the town.

Watching her beautiful lips part when she slept-
But he didn't want to intrude on her short break with her mom.
Erebus's concerns were valid, he knew she didn't have the best life before arriving at the institute. She was frail and very very thin.
But he didn't want to judge her family negatively just because they didn't have the means to feed their child properly.
Erebus just hoped this break would be different and she'd be able to eat right while he wasn't there to watch over her.
Now he had to just sit and wait.
All alone (besides gully, who Gianna left with him) and regretting the fact he had been grumpy the last he saw her. He didn't get any goodbye kisses.
Gianna's POV:
I've knocked three times now and Mama has yet to come to the door.
She used to be home by now if she was working. But what if-
