Third person pov:
They couple left their isolated room in search of the sisters and answers about Gaia.
Gianna had a hard time focusing on the mission ahead of them thanks to Erebus's distraction earlier.
It was wildly inappropriate for her, she knew. But she couldn't help it. She only hoped Erebus was in the right state of mind to lead this investigation so it turned out somewhat successful.
The two happened upon Clover, the youngest of the sisters. Looking upon her as she reads an old book, you wouldn't expect her to be responsible for the moment of life. For someone who brings such a beautiful moment to reality, she was a rather glum character.
Clover always looked dreary. Her face sunken in, eyes glazed over like the dead. Gianna wondered how old she must be. But remembered that she had memories older than life itself, and blushed at the thought.
"Clover, where are your sisters?" Erebus asked, looking around the large dark room.
"Around." She dismissively said.
"Hm, for such an important role in this universe you don't seem busy"
"That's not how it works." She mused.
"Tell me then, how does it work?"
But before Clover could answer him Ophaline stepped into the room with eerily silence.
"Clover." Ophaline interrupted. Her voice clipped.
"Ophaline, there you are." Erebus stepped closer, a sly smile on his face. He knew quite well that the eldest would not like him poking around without her there to control the situation.
"Now that you're here let's get down to it. Where are the lifespans?" He questioned "let us see them" .
"That's not something you can just ask of us."
"Why not? Do you no longer have control of them?"
"Don't be ridiculous. We are the Moirai." Ophaline did not like being tested.
"Show us. Specifically, show us the gods' life spans."
"She just said that's not-" Clover but in, however she was interrupted.
"Fine. Come with me. Clover, go get Lakia and meet us there" Ophaline turned and left the room.
Erebus and Gianna took this as their que to follow, watching as clover disappeared to fetch the third sister.
Gianna wondered how large this castle was. They had been walking forever now and still no sight of the life span threads.
She glanced up at Erebus to find him equally as irritated, he was about to say something before Ophaline announced their arrival.
