Two months before the taking of Fae...
The clinical place is alive with nervous energy. A four man team in tactical suits have appeared and are starting along the walkway from the elevator. They stop at a curtain and pull it.Inside, the girl who calls herself Stella can be seen, already on her feet and facing the door. One of the men swipes a key card over the lock, unlocking a small panel under which a mechanical lock receives a complex key. He steps inside.
"Remain calm 05-16. You're being Transported," he firmly states. "Fuck off. I don't wanna," the girl bites back. Her brow furrows in obvious concentration. "Don't make it ha..argh. Ahhhhh!" The man begins, but his caution turns into a scream of terror, as he suddenly flails about, attempting to strike, or at least defend against, something unseen. "Shit!" One of the other men exclaims. "She's got a Hostile Power. Engage, engage. Tasers on max!"
An intense scuffle ensues, in which the first man is left a blubbering heap of knee-hugging, cowering wreck. Another man looks hauntedly around him, while the two others are affixing a thick collar on the passed out girl's neck and matching manacles on her wrists. Finally, they put a black bag over her head.
''Transporting Subject 05-16 to Surface Facility. Initial Hand-Off postponed. Emergent Hostile Power used," the man who put the hood over the girl's head reports via a headset.
