Fae is anxiously waiting in the elevator with Mama Ashley, as they travel to the lowest floor. With her is a medium-sized plastic bag with her essentials. ''Now, 13-7, When we get down there, you'll have to be prepared for some more challenging tests. As you evolve, It'll get easier for you, but for now, It's gonna seem like the biggest challenge ever, but trust me, you'll survive.'' Mama Ashley looks down at Fae. The Elevator dings, and as the doors open two men dressed in black can be seen standing guard at a big white door. ''We're here, are you excited?'' Mama Ashley steps out, and looks behind her, waiting for Fae. Fae is silent, scared and anxious. Hesitant to answering Mama Ashley's question, she just smiles and follows her like a little puppy. The guards open the door, and as they enter, Fae's body stiffens, skin colder than the snow. This floor is different. Sending chills down her spine, she looks around. The walls are grey, the floors white with tiles under all the filthiness. There's a breeze, but no wind. Fae looks around to discover an air conditioner, explaining the mild breeze. ''So, if you follow me, 13-7.'' Mama Ashley walks down the small, very snug hallway. At the end of the hallway, she stops. There's a brown door, with a dragon sign above, reading ''Dragon's inn.''. Mama Ashley opens the brown door, leading into a small room. Surprisingly, It's bigger than her former room, more neat too. The walls are brown with wood-coverings, floor white with tiles. To her left there's a real bathroom sink, toilet and bath, separated by two room dividers, nothing like the box machine upstairs. The bed however, placed in the middle of the room, against the black wall, is smaller, thinner and looks uncomfortable. To her right is a small kitchen area, mini-fridge stocked with water and juice, two white counters and a small table, with two chairs, and beside that is another bed, just as thin and uncomfortable-looking as the other. Mama Ashley speak up, ''Here's where you'll be staying, 13-7. Now, I want you to get settled here before we start on anything.'' Mama Ashley walks out, and grabs the door handle. ''Talk soon.'' She closes the door, clacking her heels down the hall.
As soon as the door closes, Fae panics. ''Fuck, shit, fuck!'' She whispers, pacing back and forth. ''Dylan, I need Dylan.'' Fae sits down on the chair, clasping her arms around her knees, rocking back and forth slowly. Tears start rolling down her cheek, she's scared. ''I need to get out, i need to get out.'' she moves her hands to her ears, covering them to block any noise that's... not here. ''Jack..'' Fae starts balling out tears, hysterically crying, hoping for a miracle to happen.
She sits like this for a couple of hours, before being distracted by a cockroach crawling in the corner closest to the table, heading into a small hole in the wall. ''There's.. life down here?'' She wipes away her tears, before crawling towards the small hole. Her cheeks are pink from crying, her clothes wet. Bending her upper-body down, she closes one eye, and looks into the hole. ''Where are you my friend.'' She tries to concentrate, maybe her powers would help her down here. As soon as she closes her other eye, she's interrupted by the door opening. ''Food.'' A guard Steps in, places the food on the ground and exits again. Fae gets up from the floor and heads towards the tray on the ground. Spaghetti Meatballs with a side of steamed vegetables and two bottles of water. ''Damn, how thirsty you think I am?'' She says with a low voice. Picking up the tray she walks towards the table again, places the tray and sits down. She grabs the utensils placed on the left side of the tray, and starts digging in the over-steamed vegetables. ''This is prison food.'' Sighing, she stabs a meatball and starts picking bites.
She stares down at the stale, mealy spaghetti, with a disgusted look. Looking at the door, she whispers. ''They're trynna kill me or something.'' She sighs, and gets up. Picking up her tray she walks to the trashcan next to the mini-fridge, and throws away the rest of barely touched food. Trying to find at least something to entertain her, she looks around the room. ''What to do.. what do to..'' She starts humming, her humming turning into notes, turning into a song, as she walks around the room.
