Dylan's entry at the hospital...

We follow the footsteps of a man walking down a passage overly brightened by the white shining ceiling lights. He pauses Infront of a room, pulls out a key from a pocket of his doctor's coat. He enters, closing the door behind him and stares at the unconscious Dylan. "Subject 18-8 hasn't woken up. Time 10:30 a.m., Thursday, year 2025. Doctor Gregg, known as Papa Gregg here", he speaks into a small brick like device that he reached from his pocket sitting on his chest. Dylan opens his eyes briefly as life is fed into his body. He takes in his surroundings but feels constraints around his wrists and ankles. "Subject 18-8 is waking up and familiarizing himself with the environment. Motor functions seem to be working", the doctor reports back into his device. The room is in a circular shape, a wall made of transparent material and a curtain blowing around on the other side. At the end of the bed sat a washing machine looking device. Dylan had been wearing a plain white shirt as well as some yoga pants. All his belongings relating to the outside world have been destroyed. The doctor moved from the door and stood Infront of the long side of the bed, watching over Dylan.

"Where am —?" His words mix and slur into a mumble. The doctor puts down his clipboard and recording device on the washing machine like box, then clearing his hoarse voice before speaking. "Hello Subject 18-8. I am Papa Gregg. Welcome home. You'll like it here very much", he says with a closed lip smile. Dylan's strength builds up, and he struggled trying to free himself. "What did you call me? Where am I?! Get me out of these! Help me!" He screams looking around in confusion and fear. "Subject 18-8 seems to be experiencing shock. Normal reaction for the new arrivals", he reports back before continuing to speak to Dylan, "You are now apart of the Program by those gifted run by the Order of the Rising Sun. This is a training facility and you're safe. The constraints are there for your safety you may remove them." He soothes. Dylan complies and removes them. He goes and stands up by the wall. "Who the fuck are you? What is this? Gifts?" He asks, his hands formed into fists." The doctor turns and faces Dylan, his hands behind his back. "You must be confused I have the answers to your questions, but I need to know what you remember first. Try your best."

"I—I", Dylan's eyes twitch and a vein is evidently showing through his forehead. "Why can't I remember anything?!" He hits the side of his head. "Subject 18-8 inhales in self harm in hope to remember past activities", the doctor reports. Dylan's head jitters up, a tear rolling down his cheek. "I killed her", he says as the image of his teacher falling out of a window wrapped around a curtain plays over in his mind. The doctor shows no empathy, instead he tilts his head and asks in a curious tone, "And how did you do that?" "I— I can't remember", his hands shake and his eyes carry terror. His mouth twitching. The doctor walks up to him slowly, and rests a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay. You will soon. The bad men are gone", he says. Dylan's breathing slows down as he calms down. The doctor pulls out a tissue from his picket and opens it. Inside is a needle. "Now this needle here is for precaution until we find out if your gift is a risk to others or yourself." "No. Stop!" Dylan struggles within Papa's grip. "It's okay. You're safe", he repeats holding the needle near Dylan's arm.

Dylan grabs Papa Gregg's wrist tightly. The doctor's pupils liquify, into spirals and green takes over replacing the colour. "Put down the needle", Dylan commands and Gregg complies. Dylan looks behind the doctor and sees the device. "Delete this part. I am no risk. I am safe. Go", he slowly lets go of the wrist. Papa Gregg complied and grabs the device. "Subject 18-8 poses no threat. Gift is low level risk, therefore the needle not in need." The doctor's pupils form back and je breathed in heavily grabbing the sides of the washing machine box for support. "I must be feeling unwell. Will you follow me subject 18-8? To meet some friends." He smiles, walking to the foot, holding his clipboard and stuffing the device back in his pocket as well as the needle."He passed many rooms of other kids. He sees the different gifts as he passes the kids been trained. The different sized rooms, curtains and shapes. Finally they reached a large room, where loud murmuring and conversations could be heard. Everyone stops and they all look at Dylan. "Newbie! Newbie! Newbie!" They chant and bang against the table with their fists. "Settle down! I know you're excited. Meet 18-8. Pick any table." Papa Gregg turns and leaves. Dylan looks around and sees a hand waving him over. Dylan approaches the table, to see a ginger smirking and some of his companions behind him. "Sit. Please." He pats a seat next to him.

"I'm Josh. That is Manny, Linda and Roach. You'll remember your name soon. Eat up the food isn't that bad. It's great actually." The group smiled around at Dylan. His eye was caught on a metal bracelet around one of the kids legs. "Oh. That's Mallick. His gift is high risk. He killed a doctor last month. Made him stab himself using just his mind", Josh reports. Manny smacks Josh on the arm. "Dude. Too much", he whispers over, an accent can be detected. They bicker but Dylan zoned them out and looks around. He noticed someone, a few tables from him. She looks like Melissa bit with short hair. "What's your gift?" Linda asks as sound is brought back into Dylan's head. He gets up and rushed to Melissa's table. She sees him coming and gets up quickly. Dylan smiles and before he can speak, she pulls him in and speaks. "Don't say my name, in public. They can't know you remember Dylan. Only us. Go speak to One. Behind that curtain. I'm going to leave now. Don't follow me." She steps back and walks away in the opposite direction, keeping her head down.
