Twenty-Three:

Dream World

I don't know how I get to this place however I already knew what my mission is to be. I look around and I only see tall buildings around me, a familiar place since I visited this place so often.

This time, a young lady came to me to ask for help. Not for herself but for someone she cares for, a friend or perhaps a family. Yet, I accept her request and now I'm on a journey to the place where I can meet the person that the young lady wanted me to save from its trap world.

The journey was too scary the road that I walked was too dark to pass through. The wind is too cold that my mouth smokes whenever I blow an air and it embraces me tightly that chills me through my bones. Still I keep on going until I finally see my destination, the school and it seems it just the beginning of their class.

Students are just coming in to their classrooms, and I quickly look for this specific person and I quickly found this young girl that stand out to everyone.

She has a light that is about to shut down and the reason of it was the story that the young lady told me. The reason why this student needs help is because she's been trap into a cycle that she couldn't escape no matter what she does.

Her story was the beginning of her misery. She died injustice in the hands of those men that she never thought will do harm to her. Those men are also students and one of them likes her but turned him down because she's more focus on studying. Not knowing he will be her murderer, the day that he was turned down was the last day she'll be seen alive.

After their class, when she was going home, with his friends, they block her way and force her to come with them. With the strength she had, she fights them however it isn't enough to get away from them ending her life with a sharp knife that pierces through her body. Not only once, but many times that end her life. Not knowing that her death will only repeats as soon as her soul went on the other side.

Her soul was trap into a cycle where she will begin her life in the morning going to school and will repeatedly be killed from the hands of that man. A reason she couldn't explain why and how her soul end up in this traumatic death.

As it continues, she starts to lose her light and I think this is her last day as her light is about to lose. It shines so bright as if it was her last light that she can hold on and if she will experience her death once and for all, she'll definitely turned into a vengeful soul.

That I and the young lady who asked for help don't want to happen, if I can help her out of her suffering and halt her death before the deep darkness consume her soul entirely.

...

"Wait!" I quickly run towards her as soon as their class finish. "Don't go!" I said in haste while I'm catching up my breath.

"Who are you?" she surprisingly asked.

"I have to save you!" I honestly answered.

She looks at me with full of doubt and I can even sense that she thoroughly checking on me, and it took her a minute before she speaks to me.

"You... can save me?" her voice sounds so fearful and worried.

Without even thinking I hold her hands tightly and said, "I know what you were going through and I'm here to finally end your misery. So please, let me help you."

She stares at me longer enough to feel that our surrounding begins to paint in black. That worries me, the evening breeze became so cold it embraces not only our outer selves but also deep to our souls and I know what will happen next that scares me.

"They are coming." Suddenly she speaks up, with terror in her voice and upon looking to her I could also see the terror picture into her face.

"I won't let them hurt you no matter what happened!" I decided and pull her away from that place.

We run towards the rough road and as we go, deep darkness quickly chases us and lights begin to shut down. We're losing our last hope to survive out of this darkness and the last light that we had is the lamp post that was standing in the midst of fields. From there we can see the darkness moves fast towards us and we couldn't do anything because we're already trapped.

To the extent that she decided to let go and let herself go into the darkness that I quickly stop her.

"No! You don't have to do that! I'm here to save you and bring you back to light! So please, do not surrender." I plead but she looks at me with those saddest eyes I ever see.

"I know this is my fate." She said. "I cannot avoid or escape it no matter what I do, I'll always experience the same death I repeatedly experiencing here in this trap world. That I don't know why I have to experience it all over again and again! What kind of sin did I commit when I was alive?! Why do I have to die in such a painful death?! Letting me bleed as he continues to submerge the knife down to my body! I couldn't do anything and even my soul couldn't fight back, it continues to torture me! Why?! Has God left and forgotten me?! Because I do feel He already had! So let me go! And save yourself!"

The bitterness, the pain, the anger and the emptiness filled me in and it suffocates me I hardly breathe. Am I going to lose her?
