Fifty-One:

Gyles Residence

As soon as we arrived on Earth, I quickly look for Jeanne and Chadd was already there waiting for us as if he knew we will arrive soon.

"Where is Jeanne?" I asked straight ahead.

"She's at the second floor, the first room to the left." Chadd answered and without wasting any time I hurriedly went straight to that room.

Upon arriving, I quickly saw Jeanne lying unconsciously at the bed. I kneeled beside her as I hold her hand and try to wake her up but to no avail.

"She won't wake up no matter how long you call out on her." It was Chadd and I didn't even notice that he followed back.

"What happened to her? And how long she's been unconscious?"

"It's been five hours since she fainted and it was all because of Azazel and Bellinor."

"What! Are they here on Earth?"

"Yes, they were here in the flesh."

I was really surprised hearing that those two were here and that only means one thing. "We need to take them out of here!" I immediately decided with a mindset of facing them in a fight.

"Calm down, Almos." It was Dione who eventually follows us in to the room.

"What are you saying? Didn't you hear what he just says?"

"I heard it loud and clear. But this isn't the right time to face them we need to save Jeanne first and looking at her condition. She won't be able to wake up."

"Did Azazel do something to her?"

"No, I don't think so. I didn't see any darkness around her."

"That is also what I figure out after checking on her." Chadd answered. "Even though, she was in shock seeing those two together on Earth. Losing her consciousness is something eerie as if, her powers suddenly change."

"Change? That is impossible."

"Well, it is possible." Dione seriously answered. "Did the two of you already kiss?" Dione asked him normally.

It was so sudden I couldn't answer what she asked.

"That's ridiculous!" suddenly Chadd answered in disbelief.

"No, it isn't, Chadd or rather I call you to your original name, Fallen Angel Asim."

She said revealing the truth behind the changed of Chadd that adds up to my surprised after hearing it.

"So, you mean, Chadd and Asim were one?"

"Not definitely. Chadd is a human and Asim is a Fallen."

"I don't get it." I said but then I remember the law of Angels and the Fallen. "It will only be possible if a Fallen Angel will be killed by a Fallen like him, then his or her spirit will reincarnate as a living being on Earth. That only means..." I stared back at Chadd.

"You've finally got it right." He answered.

"Then, how did you manage to control your powers as a former Angel? Because it is impossible..."

"I was the one who help him." Dione answered. "His death was injustice and I cannot just leave it like that, which is why I save him even though Father will condemn me. I still do what I think is right. Besides, it was Azazel who ends his life and I couldn't just accept it. Father knows how cunning he is and killing a Fallen means something to him. That I still don't know what he was planning. And knowing him and Bellinor was here, then he is really up to something and we should save Jeanne no matter what. So first, tell me, did you two kissed or not?"

"Almos." Chadd called on me when I keep myself quiet. "You don't mean..."

"Yes." I decided to tell the truth. "We did."

"Almos!" Chadd immediately grabbed me by my shirt and hold me so tight I can see his anger through his eyes and it wasn't just anger but also... "Are you jealous?"

"What!"

"Asim!" Dione holds him to his wrist and tries to stop him. "Will you calm down? Because this isn't the right time for your feelings to show, right now, we need to save Jeanne. Because the longer she stays sleeping the longer she'll go deep into her own darkness."

"What do you mean?" we asked at the same time.

"Let him go first, Asim and I'll explain it." She said while looking intently at him and it took him longer before he finally let go of me. "Good! Now, I'll explain. When you two kissed, her powers and your powers collide that awakes the memories hidden deep within. Although, it was just fragments of memories, still remembers your heart's desire."

I can hear Asim scoff in whispered but I don't care and focus my mind saving Jeanne.

"If what you say is true, then, how can I wake her up?"

"Enter her mind." She answered. "And by doing it, you just need to hold her hand simply as that, right?"

"Huh, is that all?"

"No, I know it may sound simple but it isn't." she said. "Right now, if you try to enter her mind, you won't find her that easily. Since, that your realm has been half destroy and you couldn't fix it right away, that only means, Jeanne's dream also put into a destruction. That will cause the darkness within her to awake and the looks of it, she was trap somewhere from the desire she badly wanted to know open and be known. She wanted to reveal the truth about the two of you and staying at that place only means, putting her life on the edge. So, you need to be careful out there, because once you enter you cannot go out not until you save Jeanne and wake her up to her reality."

"No, if I stay inside her mind longer, then, my realm..."

"Indeed. And that's the reason why I asked Ilmatar to talk to God of Time to help us to stop the time so that, you'll be able to take all the chances that you can get just to be sure Jeanne's safety. You have to save her no matter what."
