Sixty-Four:

One Week Later

I get used to my living, my normal days. Yet, there's some doubts slowly eating me up. That I keep ignoring as the days passes by. I even became more attentive on attending Chadd's practice even though I keep on hearing whispers from... I don't know where.

Until, I get used to it. Everything around me is totally back to normal. And I really thought everything is clear until this person suddenly came in to the picture.

...

"Did you already accept this fate you were in?" He asked and for some reason, his voice sound familiar though I couldn't remember where and when I heard it.

I quickly turned my head to see who own that voice but to my dismay he already passed by and all I could see is his back as he walks away from me.

"Anne!" I was about to follow him when Chadd suddenly came unexpected. "Hey! Are you alright?"

"Yes I'm fine." I said and even though I wanted to run towards the mysterious guy, I just can't for a reason I don't know why. "Did... did you know who that person is?"

"Who?"

"That guy on the right, who is he?"

"Oh, he is our class president."

'Class president? But... why I did not know him?'

"Hey!" Chadd called out as he waves his hand in front of me.

I didn't even notice that I just freeze so sudden and my mind goes blank. And it's all because of that guy, the president, which I don't even remember.

"I wanted to talk to him." It was so sudden it surprised me.

"That's impossible."

"Why?"

"He's too busy as of the moment."

'Busy... then,' "does he know me?" I seriously asked.

"What are you saying? Do you think he will recognize you among the many students here? You are not even his friend so how does he know you."

He has a point our class president isn't my friend. Although, when we passed by each other, I knew he was talking to me and not to the person next to him.

"Well, just forget what I just said. I really thought he knew me when–– it's nothing." I quickly stop myself for telling what I just thought when he passed by and chose to leave it that way. "Let's go! Your first game of the season is about to start that is why you have to be on time."
