Sixty-Two:
Kingdom of Heaven
I thought about what Dione said about their Father. Could they see their Father face to face or like us humans, the only image we know is his only son who became human?
I don't know and I'm afraid to ask them directly. I feel like, even though they are children of God who created everything, they don't spend much time with him or talk to him often.
I can't help but ask myself if, are they still called family or were they just made so that they can be called children of the creator?
Questions... just simple questions that I don't know if there will be an answer.
That is why I choose not to speak or ask I just silently watch them as they lead me to the Ninth Kingdom.
...
Ninth Kingdom
"Welcome to the Ninth Kingdom." Zamariel announced and at the same time the gate was mysteriously opened.
A dazzling light made me close my eyes after the gate opened and it took me a while before I open it because, not only did I see a dazzling light, but I also felt the warmth that greeted me in this place. When I was completely adjusted to what greeted me, I slowly opened my eyes and immediately met a place that was familiar to me.
In my memory, even in my dreams I have never reached this place but why did I feel like I knew this place ever since? Though, there was a pain in my heart when I saw the whole surrounding, so much pain that I didn't notice my hand caressing my chest to relieve it and ease it.
"Are you alright, Jeanne?" Almos worriedly asked me after noticing what I am doing.
"Ye-yes." I stammered as I inhale and exhale.
"I think, she's already exhausted." It was Ilmatar. "She's still a human and going here already reaches her limitations."
Maybe she was right I'm just exhausted that is why I feel this sudden pain.
"She can now rest in the room prepared for her."
"But..."
"Almos, the Lord knew this would happen to her the moment she arrived in this place, so the room she would rest in was ready before she faced him." Zamariel explained. "So, I will take you to your rooms first. Come, and follow me."
...
When Zamariel took us to our rooms, I was left alone in the room reserved for me and from there I sat on the bed and conditioned my feelings. I don't know how long I conditioned myself before I heard a voice.
It is a soft voice and it came from a woman. I listened to it carefully until it became clear to me that the voice was familiar because I had heard it once before.
'In limbo!' I shouted to myself.
Right! This is the voice I heard that saved me from the danger I'm in when I accidentally entered the limbo. It is a woman and not a man. But who is this woman? And where does this voice come from? I cannot even understand what she was saying as if she was talking in a different language that I only heard when Ilmatar and the others wanted to hide things from me.
I tried my best to find it when suddenly a knock from the door disturbs me. Along with the weak knocks, Almos called me. I slowly opened my eyes and only then did I realize that I had fallen asleep without even realizing it. It means that I was only dreaming when I heard that voice. Though, my instinct tells me it is for real.
"Jeanne? Are you alright?"
Almos asked outside yet I'm on daze, when I try to fully wake up myself. I don't know, but I feel so weak I couldn't even lift up my hands or should I say, I couldn't move at all. My eyes keep on shutting and when I try to force it open, my world starts spinning I feel nausea and I suddenly vomit.
That's when I heard the door to my room swing open and Almos came rushing to my side.
"Jeanne! Are you alright?" he worriedly asked while he rubbed my back to aid the unknown pain I am feeling.
"I'm fine." I said as I wipe my mouth. "Sorry, I... I'll clean this up."
"No, you still need to rest. I'll take care of it."
"But..."
"Please, just do as I say. Because I think, even if you have some protections, you will still feel the strong presence of this place."
"You were right." I sighed as I agree, when I suddenly remember the voice that I heard before he visits me. "The voice." I said as my eyes open wide.
"Who's voice?"
"A woman's voice."
"And who was that?"
"I don't know... I just suddenly heard it when I stayed here..." did I get a nap or I'm just hallucinating? "I'm not sure if I slept or just hallucinating? Yet, I'm so sure I heard it loud and clear."
"I went here to check on you after three hours so that you can rest longer, enough to get more strength that you will need as you face the God of Spirit Guide."
"Three hours." I said almost a whisper, and yet I feel like it is only for a while. I feel like it isn't enough for me to gather enough strength not because of some God to face but because of the truth that is slowly unfolding right in front of me.
"Jeanne?"
I blink my eyes twice before I speak. "It's nothing."
Almos intently stare at me and it took him a while before he answered. "I know what you feel, Jeanne. As the truth slowly unfolding right in front of our eyes, we will suffer but mostly in your part. As a normal person in this heavenly world, it will be your greatest burden before reaching the whole truth." He seriously stated and I agree with him in silence.
